    Thanks for the extra ideas .and I would like to point out .that it is pretty cool that your wife actually helps .and takes an interest. So many of my friends have shops and or just garage projects that the wife has nothing to do with or acts like the project is some sort of competition. And tries to derail said project

    Finally someone has a nicely filmed in-depth video on 4 link! Well explained. Building an F100 at the moment. Cool watching your videos too. Good luck with business in 2020. Cheers!

    Quality video, easy to follow and understand, good job. And let me just say you both married well, it make all the diifference when a couple can work hand in hand together. The best part is how well you communicate with each other, it all just clicks. Congrats

    Your descriptions as you are building are great. I've often wondered why more links aren't built with plug welds. I wasn't sure if it had something to do with distorting the bung, but as you did if you build the links with the rod ends threaded in it should be fine.
    What rod ends are those and how long do you find they last? Have you ever used something link a Johnny Joint or another of the rebuildable link ends with a poly race? I'm torn between something like that and the FK RSMX series. My truck is going to see a lot of mud so I've even considered the Metal Cloak Duroflex bushings on the axle side. I just don't want to replace the rode ends because they've worn out in a year. It's also going to be street legal so I was thinking about NVH a little bit. I don't want to need to trailer it.

    • @TTMotorsports
      @TTMotorsports  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have used johnny joints in the past and they work great. The rod ends I am using are fk bearing kmx16 and they last a couple seasons. Jmx16 are a better heim but they are usually 3x the cost and only last a fraction longer.

      The 4 Link kit, lowers welded, frame and axle mounts, no truss is $4000. Labor is $125 an hr and depends on if you want the links just mounted, 9in axle trussed or how extensive you want the job to be. Email me if interested.
