There's also the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, which is led by the Surgeon General. There's also disaster relief that is carried out by various National Guards as well as federal troops during times of crisis. There's also US foreign aid which is commonly distributed by the military.

China does not invade anyone. China does not fall for provocations of any kind. Plus, China has Nuke. The US Armed Forces must attack China soon for any pretext (Made up pretext, of course), because today we are strong and prepared with a good budget and a very very good equipment. If the US is slow to achieve this goal, China will overtake us in 5 or 6 years and our equipment will be obsolete by then. Do you want an example? The Polish army had the best cavalry in Europe after the First World War. It was efficient, fast, disciplined, forceful and fearsome in 1928. The cavalry did not need many resources to maintain it and had excellent command teams. The first English tanks that appeared at the end of the First War, were slow, impractical, vulnerable, and very expensive to produce and even more expensive to maintain. The Polish army dismissed the tanks and also the aviation. Nine years later, the Polish army and cavalry were completely wiped out on the battlefield by Nazi Army in just one day. In matters of war, weapons become obsolete very quickly and the "enemy" progresses while his opponent trusts what he has.

M240 and Ma-Duece 50cal, excellent, excellent weapons. Had these on the M1 when I was in, they are old design, but do really well.
