One potentially fruitful marketing strategy would be to sponsor a sports team or organisation that requires frequent travel. My idea in this thought experiment was to have an all medium to long haul passenger airline with partner airline or sub-contracted short haul connections so the sports team would probably have to be a national team that requires international travel. Perhaps a rugby team like The All Blacks as an example. Or, even better (but probably a more pricey sponsorship), a formula one team that has 24 races scheduled in 21 different countries around the world next year.
