@@CalamariProductions Thank~ You full heartedly for everything that you do & for your reply. I can empathize with them because as a young kid growing up with an alcoholic father & and an over whelmed mother of 4 little kids, neither one of my parents having above an eighth grade education, both continuing the negitive, hurtful, unhealthy cycles of how they were raised as, I cannot remember even a handful of times when my parents told me how much they loved me and how proud they were of me or ever feeling genuinely loved... Especially, growing up in dysfunction, chaos, violence, not much money etc etc etc.. I was never taught the correct way to parent. I think, I learned when I had my daughter from all of THAT on how NOT to parent. I'm actually thankful and that has helped me to be able to forgive. It wasn't until I got older and really started to understand, it wasn't because I was un~lovable as a small innocent child.... it was because my parents never had that example either. Instead of, breaking old patterns & those vicious cycles they chose, to continue it. We tend to live what we know. I some how new in my heart that was wrong & not the correct way to raise & treat a child. We can allow it to make us bitter or make us better. I prefer, better! I personally, had to work hard through a lot of things on my own and come to understand and know that I had to love my~self more than, wanting the love from my parents that I never got. It wasn't easy at all but it was necessary & aided my healing~ It's not so much about what I needed as a child didn't get but more about what I could give myself and my own children for generations to come. That's when, I was able to start forgiving and trying my best every single day to move past my past and turn it into a blessing in which, I now pass down to my daughter as we start, a brand new family chain of acceptance and love always and. in. all. ways~ After all, I believe that's what human beings seek the most. Acceptance and Love. We need to be showing a lot more compassion & pure love to alllllll the hurting human~beings... young & old. That's how we change the world for the better. Genuine Love is the key~ I absolutely love your films! They touch my heart in so many ways. Sending Love & Abundance Blessings 💯 🌬️🌬️🌬️💕 🙏💕🕊️
Kemyada is saying whatever she has to say to get out & party. All the neck rolling and attitude, plus she honestly believes everybody cusses out their parents smh
You can't blame society because no one can parent. Kevin on rape charges in 2021, along with domestic abuse, and basically holding someone hostage. I went through some shit my whole life, and have been asked how do i even function. There is a time when you must choose your road, and i chose life and compsassion. I fought a lot until 12, and then i turned it inward, until God set me free through the blood of Christ. At 50, I know hell and back. I chose not to have kid's because this world is sick.
Ahhh yes, the old “My child needs structure so I’ll send her away” No, you failed your daughter and continue to take the lazy way out by handing her off to other. Sad.
You talking like a fool and surely don't know what you talking about. What that girl is doing have nothing to do with her mother failing because some teenagers are going to do what they want no matter what and that's what placement is for. There are many kids that were raised very well by both parents and still turn out like this.
Tough love is supposed to be tough. Enabling is easier but not better! She had been told many times by her parents she chose not to listen. Our choices have consequences.
Her mother told her to take the contraceptive shot .but she said that she wouldn't do it .then I think just to please the court ,she said okay I'll take the shot.
I have the shot, which I'm off currently to try for more kids, but I'm close to 40 years of age. I currently have an almost 2 year old and I find it hard to keep up because I have physical disabilities. Prayers these children in this x-part docuseries do better and realise thier future is much brighter. Good luck to these people.
The judge didn’t give any reactions to the parent’s shortcomings!!!!. SHAME!! No child-based perspective. Is she really a judge??? She’s not suitable in juvenile’s court sorry
Agreed. The entire court proceedings for Kymyada gave me the chills. I did not get the impression that anyone there made an effort to understand where she was coming from, so how on earth could they expect to decide the best outcome for her, her baby, and her family.
It doesn’t matter what age, if the program is established, you simply adapt to the system. I was in and out of Juvenile Hall as a kid. The whole criminal justice system is a flawed and failed system. It’s more or less a mill, with all the same punishment, all the same guidelines,. No two cases/lives are the same, yet nothing is individually tailored. Broken homes with little guidance are what most of the kids suffer from
@Moses Rivera - thanks for such a thoughtful post. Broken homes with little guidance is definitely part of the problem we've seen over the years. We often say if you take away hope and opportunity for kids, they will find another way to survive. Unfortunately, those options aren't great without those two simple things. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
After reading a few comments, I see viewers blaming: 1) the parents of the teenage girl 2) the judge 2) the guards 4) the system as a whole 5) the partying girl Intetesting, what people get from watching a video. Once you get referred, you are no longer a first time offender, and your "track record" influences the decision makers. You are screwed. And all of those in power know it.
WTH? You make it illegal for a child to run away? How do you expect them to escape a bad situation if they can expect to be criminally charged. Good hell! Perhaps her going home to her mother isn’t the best place for her to be. Then that beast of a prosecutor treats her like she’s scum. Who are these people? She spent the night at her cousins. Give me a freaking break!
14:57 This is the best way to get your daughter to hate you for the rest of her life no matter what she did. Appearing in court alone and being placed in handcuffs is enough to let a child know their parents are not playing when they say obey our rules.
Kymyada got pregnant again? Shortly after and then her more not only gives up her but also her grandchild. Got damn that's low down. Ok keep your grandchild at the least. I Know I know..it's not her responsibility but damn
Bru you don't know the mom's struggle! Don't be rude! You can see Yada's mom committed and tried her best! We aunties and grandmothers are not here to raise kid after kid! Respect the grandma as the 2 babies need care!
Hey people. What kids need are their Parents and that's what parent's don't understand and that's when kids do crazy things for not giving them attention. For any parent who have kids this is my advice... Never throw your kid in jail for what ever he did wrong. You destroy his life and a chance for a future. Your kid is your reflexion..... He does wrong cause he doesn't see you in the picture, he feels lonely.... Blood is blood and nothing will change that.... Love your family, love your kids!!!! Peace!!!
They've never been taught to communicate . They don't know what to do with anger , hurt, betrayal ..... they can't voice it. Neglect, abuse, a parent being emotional unavailable to them. It's all so confusing to them not to mention they're male & female hormones and testosterone are going crazy. And this little mommy needs to think long and hard about being a mother.
@@vestaosto Yeah, I'm hoping her lawyer asked for another hearing .All he has to do is show the videotape of her rolling her eyes and her clearly emotional verdict. The judge is this case is clearly not objective.
Why are people calling the police on their kids? Why is the state locking kids up for spending the night somewhere else without their parents' permission, when they are 17 and parents themselves? No sane country does this. And if people run away in most places, they put them in foster care if parents can't look after them. Nobody should be in prison (call it what you will, that's what this place is) for being rude or disobedient to their parents; prison is for criminals. As for Kevin, he is there for slapping an adult. That's insane.
@@LanadelreysWife5 I mean, the incident shown here was several years ago. What has become of Kevin decades later doesn't justify locking him up for hitting an adult when he was 13.
All because the judge has limited time with these kids its just another day at court for the judges but its these kids lives and i find it strange 2 months later this child was pregnant again iam happy kevin done well by himself because his mother did nothing zero zilch well done kevin
I'm so glad Kevin's story had a happy ending. All he needed was a chance to show what he was capable of. Poor Kymyada. She should have listened to her Mom and been on birth control. Now both of her kids will be in foster care, raised by other people.
According to the description on this video Kevin's ending was not so happy after all. With a two year prison sentence in 2016 and a more recent arrest in 2021.
Thanks for asking. Back when this was filmed, cuffing kids was a standard procedure while in detention. Things have changed in many facilities since that time, but this is still procedure in some places.
I had no idea that a child could be arrested for running away. I don’t understand what that means - why it exists, especially if the home life is very dangerous for a child and they feel they have no way out other than to leave. I’m just sad and confused…
The mother mentioned that she and her husband don’t have time for her coz they have work. She knew it! She knew the cause of everything. It’s her and her husband’s sshortcoming to their child!!! And then this Judge raising her eyebrow to the child. What a shame! Heartless mommas 🤮
I have not watched the entire video .. so I may have missed some information. Did this young woman get "charged" with running away? If so this is way FUKD up!
Yup. My mama be saying she gon charge me w runaway but I never run away. I’ll get mad and like go outside to the side of the house never far and my grandma house is like right around the corner and she’ll try to charge me
America uses police as social workers and jails as children's homes. Crazy. But parents collude in criminalising young people by turning them in for disobedience.
@wandamiller4473 - we happen to agree. Parental/family involvement is key. Sadly, many, many kids never experience that. It makes all the difference. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
If I could, I would put all these kids that want to do good in a farm setting. A place where they can get fresh air and see the sky and work their way to being free while enjoying a little bit of freedom. Jail is not a place for half these kids, just seems to make things worse.
It's bc hard to know what to do send her home and get a rerun or keep her confidence and that does nothing but punishment for her I think therapy might be the right answer that is therapy for both child and parents that is if dad is even in the home god bless thanks
That judge doesn't seem to really give a damn. Neither do Kymyadas parents. They don't want to. Poor Kevin. I hope the best for him. The best thing is when he's 18 he moves out and leaves his mom behind. Let her go to hell.
Thank you calamari productions years later i hope these kids are doing better versus being dead or locked up Jaime her compassion and generosity is great but the discrimination she received a few year's ago was not right
Darn shame, these parents have kids and just forget about them for another man. Kevin's mother should be at that detention every weekend to make sure he knows he comes first. Now you have them thrown in a detention center bc you failed as a parent and never come see him. How is he ever gonna learn the right way, maybe these parents should be locked up WITH the kid. See how fast that parent makes time for them when they are forced to stay with them alone.
I would have adopted Kevin if it was possible. He just needs stability, love and attention. Definitely needs therapy as well. My heart breaks for him. Mom visited ONCE in 3 months? that's not a mom.
Very intresting that the stepdad wanted her home and then 2 weeks later mom back in court and last time the judge didnt give her time to finish what she was saying and cut her off
So Kym was in prison because she ran away from her child to have some "her" time for a bit, but being in prison without her child for several months is OK. LOL. Absurd...Maybe she could have gotten extra years for not being with her child because she was rotting in prison. She is not with her child again? Where is she? In prison?? For what? For not being with her baby. How long has she been without her baby in prison? 13 months. Oh, that's it! What a irresponsible young woman that she has been without her baby for 13 months! Give her a life sentence!!
@Dario Tribolet - Thanks for the question. Our bad. We had originally thought the case of Sydney was going to be included in this episode but then it wasn't. We've changed the description. Appreciate you pointing that out!
Just like the judge said ,she was afraid that Kenyatta would get pregnant again. Kenyatta said in court that she agreed to take the contraceptive shot; but she obviously didn't do it. It's sad that her first baby went to foster care. So the child is not going to have a solid upbringing. so she'll probably end up getting in trouble and getting pregnant too.....too young . it goes down the line... n history repeats itself
These young adolescents need Jesus. Its difficult to try and live in this scary world as adult without Jesus Christ in your life. Its dangerous and terrifying. If I didn't believe I WOULD BE DEAD, I WOULDNT OF MADE IT THIS FAR IF NOT FOR JESUS CHRIST MY LORD AND SAVIOR. Jesus is my light in this ever so dark, dark world. These kids need Jesus especially nowadays.

Some find a way to overcome that trauma despite their circumstances and others struggle greatly. Regardless of the situation, children deserve our time and attention. Appreciate your passion in seeing that as well. Thank you!
Well said ..ty ❤️

Thank~ You full heartedly for everything that you do & for your reply.
It wasn't easy at all but it was necessary & aided my healing~
It's not so much about what I needed as a child didn't get but more about what I could give myself and my own children for generations to come.
That's when, I was able to start forgiving and trying my best every single day to move past my past and turn it into a blessing in which, I now pass down to my daughter as we start, a brand new family chain of acceptance and love always and. in. all. ways~
After all, I believe that's what human beings seek the most.
Acceptance and Love.
We need to be showing a lot more compassion & pure love to alllllll the hurting human~beings...
young & old.
That's how we change the world for the better.
Genuine Love is the key~
I absolutely love your films!
They touch my heart in so many ways.
Sending Love & Abundance Blessings 💯

Poor Kevin. Does anyone know his last name? I'd just like to see how he looks now as an adult. Prayers go out to him. Nobody is perfect.
Kemyada is saying whatever she has to say to get out & party. All the neck rolling and attitude, plus she honestly believes everybody cusses out their parents smh
Yup, I ain't never cuss'd my mama out, she would get even... and this girls kids went to foster care, cause this heffa likes to party 🥳🎉
Bad parents create bad kids. No surprise about Kevin. It's a generational cycle that needs to be broken along the line.
How did you know?
Ahhh yes, the old “My child needs structure so I’ll send her away” No, you failed your daughter and continue to take the lazy way out by handing her off to other. Sad.
You talking like a fool and surely don't know what you talking about. What that girl is doing have nothing to do with her mother failing because some teenagers are going to do what they want no matter what and that's what placement is for. There are many kids that were raised very well by both parents and still turn out like this.
Sometimes this is the only option and the best one. It depends on the case.
Shame on you. That woman loves her daughter!
She cares that's why she's being punished. So she get her shit together before she fucks her little kids up to. Its smart
So that poor girl finds out she’s pregnant again and her parents just dump her and her babies? WOW! Great parenting!
Tough love is supposed to be tough. Enabling is easier but not better! She had been told many times by her parents she chose not to listen. Our choices have consequences.
There is adoption for the babies
Don't judge. Your not walking in her shoes
Please go back on the shot. Good Luck.
Their only children I wish Kevin the best in life and Kym to be a good mum their still young you can do it guys x
YOOO WHY THE LADY WITH THE KEVIN KID LOOK LIKE LARRY BIRD 😂 😂 😂 AROUND THE 14:00 minute mark 🤣🤣😅😅
You can’t look glamorous working in prison
@@tonib4800 “LARRY BIRD” 😅
Only she was a lot heavier than Larry Bird
The judge didn’t give any reactions to the parent’s shortcomings!!!!. SHAME!! No child-based perspective. Is she really a judge??? She’s not suitable in juvenile’s court sorry
Agreed. The entire court proceedings for Kymyada gave me the chills. I did not get the impression that anyone there made an effort to understand where she was coming from, so how on earth could they expect to decide the best outcome for her, her baby, and her family.
She's a selfish person that should not be responsible for a baby. Mother has had enough of her shit behaviour. She needs structure
Very professional judge they are not supposed to be emotional. That can actual be grounds for disbarment. Your used to these corrupt woke judges
They believed her fake tears and promises to change, within 2 months she is pregnant again and now in foster care.
@@crazychase98Good lord, you people label anything you don’t like as “woke” even though it makes no sense in context.
After reading a few comments, I see viewers blaming:
1) the parents of the teenage girl
2) the judge
2) the guards
4) the system as a whole
5) the partying girl
Intetesting, what people get from watching a video. Once you get referred, you are no longer a first time offender, and your "track record" influences the decision makers. You are screwed. And all of those in power know it.
This mommy needs help to decide what mature decisions she needs to make. My heart hurts for her. Someone help her please.
Right! If no one steps in now and helps her, this cycle will continue to the next generations
@@shelleybotelho9777 They kids know what they need to do and they simply choose to do with it

I find it's crazy Running away is illegal. In most cases it's a cry for help.
These kids need help 1st
Well they can call the abuse help line or 911 running away won't solve anything
How is "runaway" a crime. What s bizarre law. If kids are running away the effort should be going into why
charged with runaway?🤣🤣

Peace!!!
Then fuck those parent stop having kids then.
I do not like how the judge was making faces while the young girl was telling her story.
24 years of the same old stuff, i would be making faces so.
Me too. You could already tell the verdict.
@@vestaosto Yeah, I'm hoping her lawyer asked for another hearing .All he has to do is show the videotape of her rolling her eyes and her clearly emotional verdict. The judge is this case is clearly not objective.
Wasn’t she catching an attitude too?
Why are people calling the police on their kids? Why is the state locking kids up for spending the night somewhere else without their parents' permission, when they are 17 and parents themselves? No sane country does this. And if people run away in most places, they put them in foster care if parents can't look after them. Nobody should be in prison (call it what you will, that's what this place is) for being rude or disobedient to their parents; prison is for criminals. As for Kevin, he is there for slapping an adult. That's insane.
Now he's in jail for rape and domestic violence.
@@MikeyJebediah Yes, but that was years ago. He is in his 30s now.
@@IndigoJo No, the charges are from 2021.
@@IndigoJo no that was 2021
@@LanadelreysWife5 I mean, the incident shown here was several years ago. What has become of Kevin decades later doesn't justify locking him up for hitting an adult when he was 13.
Look what happened to Kevin, he's a bad person now :( Well I thought things would change for him
Feel so sorry for these kids that are hanging on to a parent to come visit or call but they cant due to cost of travel or time off from work required
Kevin wrote as a commenter in part 1 that the 2021 charges were dropped, and he's doing well.
No
I don’t understand why that girl is handcuffed for running away
Thanks for asking. Back when this was filmed, cuffing kids was a standard procedure while in detention. Things have changed in many facilities since that time, but this is still procedure in some places.
@@CalamariProductions *VERY GOOD THIS VIDEO FRIEND ♥️*
Get away from the dysfunctional toxic parents………..find people who love you………I was abandoned and disowned for 12 years…..save your life and get out!
Judges see a lot so they if the are good dint out up with crap like in these cases. Being heartless can be a very good thing
Shocking...Kevin is gonna spend life in prison now.
He wrote as a commenter in part 1 that the charges were dropped. Father and (I think) married. Working, doing well. Not really talking to his mother.
There's a lot of kids out there that nobody wants and that's sad 😔
I have not watched the entire video .. so I may have missed some information. Did this young woman get "charged" with running away? If so this is way FUKD up!
I agree. I didnt know that was a charge
Yup. My mama be saying she gon charge me w runaway but I never run away. I’ll get mad and like go outside to the side of the house never far and my grandma house is like right around the corner and she’ll try to charge me
Indeed, that was the charge.
Yeah that’s a thing in the USA.
America uses police as social workers and jails as children's homes. Crazy. But parents collude in criminalising young people by turning them in for disobedience.
It breaks my heart because where is his mom they all need to participate into this stuff he needs to know that he has value and that hes loved
@wandamiller4473 - we happen to agree. Parental/family involvement is key. Sadly, many, many kids never experience that. It makes all the difference. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
It’s a crazy ass thing to me that parents r expecting a court an a judge to take care of there child since when this is what’s wrong with this Country
You cant beatem what else is there. A very late abortion ?
Jamie is awesome
If I could, I would put all these kids that want to do good in a farm setting. A place where they can get fresh air and see the sky and work their way to being free while enjoying a little bit of freedom. Jail is not a place for half these kids, just seems to make things worse.
Any news on how Kevin is ?
Unfortunately the description says he has been charged with some pretty serious offence recently, including rape and domestic battery.
Kevin raped someone and is also domestic abuse in 2021. So Kevin will not see daylite for quite some time.
Read description!
It's bc hard to know what to do send her home and get a rerun or keep her confidence and that does nothing but punishment for her I think therapy might be the right answer that is therapy for both child and parents that is if dad is even in the home god bless thanks

Kevin is a skilled manipulator.....he knows what he's doing and how to get what he wants. No surprise his mum is sick and tired of his antics.
In Kevin case I think until I am showed different his mother is.a saying. Out of site out of mind. SAD FOR BOTH MOTHER AND SON
That judge doesn't seem to really give a damn. Neither do Kymyadas parents. They don't want to. Poor Kevin. I hope the best for him. The best thing is when he's 18 he moves out and leaves his mom behind. Let her go to hell.

Think about it. We come into this world perfect. What we become is learned behaviors

Check in ? 13 year old mother ? How awful. I had a baby at 18 and let me tell you I don't have any idea how she is thinking.
