  • A quick and easy run through on how to use the ROK Espresso Maker.

ROK GC Espresso Maker - bit.ly/3etuQip
    ROK Tamper - bit.ly/3bACEwU
    Kinto Stacking Mug - bit.ly/3vf6QFL
    Step by Step
    1. We recommend pre-heating the ROK before brewing your coffee to help aid brewing. Do this by pouring boiled water into the chamber beforehand - life the arms of the ROK up and press down pouring all of the water through. You can also pre-heat the portafilter by running it under hot water.
    2. Grind your coffee beans down to an espresso grind, or use pre-ground coffee (it should be very fine) use around 15-18 grams. Dispense this into the portafilter and tamp down.
    3. Make sure the arms of the ROK are down, twist the portafilter inside. Pour water just off of the boil into the chamber up to the rim.
    4. Finally, the exciting part - slowly lift the arms of the ROK all the way up until you feel a bit of resistance. Now, press the arms all the way down. Press the arms slowly, but make sure you are pressing slowly and evenly aiming for 20-25 second pour. For slightly longer espresso lift the arms up and push out the remaining water in chamber.

✌️Thanks for showing and taking the time to record/post video. In this case though, the coffee is more of an Aeropress/Drip coffee extraction. If that's what ya want, by all means. The ROK is made to create coffee with Espresso extraction, so that would be the real deal to present this manual press with. Peace 👍
