I was just gifted a Honda 3000psi Simpson with no manual, hence TH-cam. Suggest using NON-ETHONOL gasoline for ALL off-road engines. Clear 87 unleaded will work better for most engines, including 4-stroke marine and ATV engines. Here in Oregon it costs only about 25-30 cents more than the 10% ETH-unleaded. You might also add the oil type for those who don't have manuals. Guessing, it is probably 10-30, but I will check the manual later. Drain the gas and add antifreeze to the pump before putting away for the winter. Thanks.

Luckily i go with dewalt.. same maker and design but their customer service and warranty are amazing.. my carburettor was clogged after couple months, i call them to inform that, they instead send me a brand new carb to install myself without even need to return my unit to them.
Yes. Common rule is to not let it run for more than 30 seconds without pulling the trigger on wand. The pump needs the cold water coming in to keep it cool. Leaving it run for too long without use can burn your pump seals up.
Honda is garbage. Give their customer service a call and see how they treat you and you will see what I mean. I have been working on small engines for years and they are not very pleasant to deal with from a customer's or a warranty dealer's point of view.
Is it only apply for simpson or all other maker that use honda gx engjnes such as dewalt ? in the past , my waranty claim with dewalt not have any problem, they just replace whatever the problem.
@@harisyoung4110 The last Simpson warranty I had experience with took over three months to get them to pay out and cover the water pump that went bad on a 4-month-old Simpson pressure washer.

I’ve found that on these exact models it doesn’t turn up or down. Simpson said so themselves

mine came from the factory with a defect. simpson wont answer phone. rings for a short time and then goes dead.

I just bought a new Simpson Powershot 4,000 3.5GPM and you can lower the pressure on it
