Wise and Revolut both have options in their app to temporarily freeze/unfreeze your card.

Gotta ask, so I use wise for travel stuff. It has these little side accounts with it that allows you to lock up every penny meaning unless they have access to your wise acct they can't spend a penny. I transfer over what I need when I need it🤷🏽‍♂️. Complex no, annoying yes....has it saved me? Several times and to the date I swear by them. My bank card itself I never use out of country...not a commercial for wise btw😂, just saying perhaps it's a useful tool for those possibly shady spots. Can you imagine the scammers face when they would have tried and gotten denied😂. Do the annoying thing and spend a few extra seconds to micro manage your accts

Tell the restaurant, they likely have cameras and get them arrested!! They will have the receipt with the exact time it was processed

I tried googling the restaurant and I’m pretty sure it dosnt even exist they’ve somehow used a fake address

Get a Thai account lad.. don't need to use a card to withdraw money from the ATM or buy things. All done with QR code

Yeah mate 100% seems to happens very often here from what I’ve seen, QR code is the way forward

Yes, you're right my friend just use like Thai people, I do not understand too why a lot of tourist came here and love to told people on their Vlog that Thai do not use the card when you come here you have to use Cash?? I have to say most of the Thai people just use those qr code you've just mentioned and of course you could use to pay at the street vendors too or if they do not have the Qr code just type their phone number to transfer to their Promptpay Apps.
