Definitely man! Actually got to meet a few guys with go fast campers out west and I like the overall design and comfort better of what we made! Looking forward to seeing your build man
@@SunnyandNicktravel Thanks man I finished putting the canvas on it this past weekend. Now I have to finish my interior on the ceiling and install my lights and that will wrap it up. I do have one little hiccup that I never thought about but you will see it in the video.
Honestly now that I have the fabrication skills from doing it I would fabricate my own frame. Fabricating a circular frame to be square was very difficult.Or if you could find a square tube ladder rack frame that might work better. It was good for me to use as a major learning project and I wanted this series to kinda show that you can make something out of anything with some time and creativity
Hard to say as I built it over a period of time and with a lot of marked up prices in lumber and other things. If I was to take a guess maybe 4500-5000 for everything including paying someone to do the canvas and all the supplies for the interior
Is there anyone who is in the business that's willing & can build me the tent portion for my clam shell or wedge ? I live in central Florida .. my vehicle is a home built over lander vehicle .. 1940's Olive drab military green color is my vehicle color the bottom of tent would attach to metal angle frame & the top would be attached to wooden frame work I can do myself .. I just have no tools or way of making the tent work I wouldn't know where to begin .. it rains here Florida a lot & the wind so I don't even know the best tent material that would work best for me ? I am good at making everything but the tent portion ! Is there anyone who is willing to help me out ? & cost ?
Super job - nice rig to be proud of 😎👍🏻👏🏻
SICK!!!!! And you saved thousands of dollars building it yourself and gained a ton of knowledge! Great job!

Looks fantastic, really want to build a wedge camper like this for my first gen tundra and have really enjoyed your build.
Thanks man! Much appreciated
Wohoo! Can’t believe it’s finally done!!
Great finish! Looks like it fits your needs. Enjoy and we can't wait to see you!
Looks amazing, nice work y'all!
Thanks a lot man! I really like your build too!
If you had to do it again would you fabricate your own frame or would you recommend the ladder rack route?
Thanks for documenting all this!

nice build, what is the thickness of the alupanel?
Hell ya brother!
What’s the link to the plans?
Any chance you have a rough idea of what this cost you to make? Thinking about making something similar. Your videos got me stoked to give it a go!

sheesh nice work
Thanks!
How much did you pay to have the tent made?
