no did you sell the Arizona house?????????????????
@@angelahill8437 still being repaired. We’ll hopefully get it back on the market soon.
Hard no. Your husband is correct, even if it's a buzzkill for you.
How about talking to the neighbour to buy a strip next to the fenceline so that would help your dream.
Sooo out of curiosity, I screenshot the dolls at the beginning of the video…. Everything I found say those are worth $400-$500 for the set!
Another great idea for the lazy Susan would be painting on the face of a compass. 😊
This lady is awesome. I first started with Dollar Tree crafting projects which led me to this youtuber. She is next level. Her "craft" projects are more like construction projects that can change your whole house LOL....
The book, Jane Eyre, is gorgeous. ❤❤❤
I read this as a teenager and loved it. It's time to read this again.
You are a lovely lady and a womderful presenter of ideas. I'm from Maine, and loved your enthusiasm for my home state ❤❤❤
I’m a lifelong Mainer. I’ve been watching you for a couple of years & didn’t realize you had ties here.
Your shed idea is awesome. I enjoyed this episode so much!
I love your idea for the shed and hope eventually you will be able to talk the town into it, but if not can do this until then?
Make it a party shed with your kitchen, and instead of couches in the living room, hang twin size beds kinda like hammocks or wooded swing with ropes from ceiling, open the doors onto a concrete slab towards main house with a firepit and pergola with dinning underneath with a grill all towards the main house. Do the room upstairs as planned and can just be a great hangout with beds.😊
I loved this video. Your sister in law is absolutely lovely. You did amazing with not having your tools, such great finds
Thank you so much!
Nat Nat, I miss Maine so much! It was a blast visiting that place, and I’m so glad you did a video while being there. You're still the coolest sister, and I hope everything is going well with you and your family.
Your favorite brother, Polarbair.🐻❄
I love my favorite brother! That was a fun trip when you came to visit. I love the photo we took together on the beach. =)
Gosh lady you are absolutely amazingly awesome!!! At least what I see on your videos!! You are truly living the life I pray to live one day!! Love everything you do!! Praying your health is still going well 😊
I grew up in Lewiston Maine and raised my children in Oxford but moved to South Carolina in 2007. My family on my dad's side are all in Brunswick. It's such a beautiful area.
Omg. .that blue is beautiful. Great finds. The lazy Susan was adorable . It turned out nice.
Love the RB .
JENNA is sweet.
BTW, I'm from Maine, but grew up in Florida.
Had the best of both worlds.
I was checking out property up there and holy smokes, the prices have tripled. There wasn't much even available. Crazy.
You have really nice ideas. That hammer with the shutters looks really beachy and the blue color was perfect 🥰
I can't believe you didn't get the dolls/statues! This looked like a fun time, thanks for sharing.
Loved this episode. I have a cousin in Maine, that I must now go visit! You are so much fun and your smile is infections. Anxious to hear what's going on with your home in Arizona.
I live in Fort Myers, Florida and have family in Millinocket, Maine! Thank you for sharing.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!💕
I love your tiny house idea. I hope you can make it happen.
I think it looked so cool cloudy!!! How cool, anchor, ocean, mist, clouds!
I’m from Maine watch you all Time I’m in Phippsburg
Love your hat! Mardens is the best. We have a camp in Northern Maine - mostly furnished by Mardens and yard sales!
She absolutely knows what she’s doing, I don’t think anyone is going to keel over and die from staying there for a week. Love what you do and good luck with the picture ❤❤❤
I read Jane eyre every few years for 40years.. that copy is awesome!!! My favorite book of all time. It was slow for me at first, but wow, she writes beautifully ..read that Natalee, you will love it.
I can't wait to read it! You have me excited.
What a fun video NataLee! So happy to meet Jena, loved all her lobster accessories, and her dip looked amazing! Loved your “shed” NataLee, lots of potential 🤞👍💕💕💕
I'm baffled that a frame is $10 and a book $20 at GoodWill. guess it depends on where you live!! It was a fun episode to watch.
I’ve been going to that goodwill for years and the prices are worst in the summers (tourists and Seasonal families ) but compared to other goodwills in southern Maine they are one of the most expensive. I have gotten some good buys there but it’s getting to be fewer each time.
And that cute table was only $5! You just never know I guess!
My husband is a cabinet builder and has had this happen. Its call blush. It comes from moisture either in the air or not fully dried paint. There are several products that will remove blush. Do not continue to add the clear coat until you get rid of blush. You just spray this product on. Good luck.
Thanks for taking us to Maine! I have to admit, I kind of liked the “foggy” lazy Susan. I probably would have sanded it, wiped it with antiquing wax and sealed it. 😊
Born and raised!! Very cool!🦞🦀
What an amazing trip you had! Thanks for sharing 🥰
Hi Natalee. I was born in Newfoundland, Canada. I don’t live there anymore but I visited for a month last October. So beautiful. Nothing compares to the east coast. Your video sitting on the beach was so like Newfoundland. So beautiful.
I can't believe you were visiting Maine and shopping in the Goodwill I always go to. Sorry I missed you. I've been watching you for awhile now and it would have been fun bumping into you. Love to see your AirBnB. Enjoy your visit and thrifting!
Love the magazine rack next to the sofa!!
I love this real life vlog with makeovers mixed in ofcourse ❤
Natalie I totally get your dream project ..and my husband is so much like yours "aint gonna happen" sooooo now "IT'S GONNA HAPPEN"😂😂😂😂❤
Love the beautiful Jane Eyre book! One of my favorite books from youth through adulthood!
Fun video! So many people have discovered the stunning beauty of Maine that TH-cam is now filled with videos giving away New England's best kept secret! Shhhh!
I’d paint a nautical compass on that lazy susan. Great finds!
Maine is so beautiful.
Welcome to Maine! I live in Freeport so you drive right through there. I will definitely visit your Airbnb.
I love the picture!
I'll need to check out your SIL's channel. Her personality is so upbeat and I think I'll learn something about lobster-ing. You two had some fun for sure. Thanks for sharing this.
She’s great! 💕 Thank you 🙏
Natalee- Love, LOVE the red tones showing in your brown hair! It is so flattering and adds a lot of softness! You are so very pretty inside and out. 😊
I love the painting!
I would have never left Maine for Florida. Maine is so much more beautiful & better quality of life!!!
I live here in the western mountains of Maine and it is cold, with lots of ice and snow. If I could afford to move to Florida, I would.
I love your shed❤ if I had that it would be my she shed😊 and make it the way you described it. Then if I wanted to get away from everyone, that's where I would be!
Love the mirror and you vision for the shed as a tiny home. Great thrift flips. You will need to keep us posted on the actual worth of the painting. How about those statues. Sure looks like you had a wonderful trip visiting family. Safe travels. Have an amazing week and weekend.
My father worked second shift. He came home and night and put that very same model of old iron side together. I’m 64. I was in elementary school when he built it
I would LOVE that shed in my back yard for crafting!!!! It’s awesome. But a tiny home would be nice!
What about the strange dolls??
Wonderful finds and great video .Great job with the makeovers ❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
Absolutely love all your videos. They have inspired me to get back into DIYing!
I'm so glad!
My sister and I love thrifting. Every week for 3 weeks we went to different cities and went to 7 thrift stores in each. It was fun trying to out do each other!
What fun! Love the house and the view!
I can see the vision! I would live there ❤ or stay there
🙋 NataLee! Hey Jena! Fun pieces you got, those things @05:01 were neat. Those models are very valuable, especially Old Ironsides. Great additions to your rental. Too humid for the spray. So much to comment on, long video 😆 love ideas for shed, hope they approve! 🙂
I agree it could have been the humidity or perhaps the spray finish was incompatible with the paint. The lazy Susan turned out beautiful in the end.
Temperature is really important when put on clear coats. Temperatures between 70 and 85 are usually what is recommended. The reason is that the spray or the brush on sellers dry to fast. I did a 100 year old dresser and this happened to me. So out came the sander and 2 more days of work. This was a fun video! Thank you for sharing💖💖💖
I’m so happy you liked it!💕
Jane Eyre is one of my FAVORITE books, but you gotta gut through 100 very slow, dry pages of backstory. Then you're captivated!
Good to know! Thanks ☺️
Did you find out anything about those ugly statues 😂
I loved it from the very first pages❤
The beginning when she’s young is my favorite part!
This was a great video. Loved watching your plans and the thrift flips they turned out so beautiful. Dollie is such a cutie 🥰 Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much! 😊
I loved the painting, the books - especially the Jane Eyre - and the Stiffel picture frame❤❤❤
Love it when you do the thrift challenge
You 2 are so cute!!
That backing piece DOES need to get replaced !!!
I think it's mold 😮.
I checked it out pretty good and it is just staining, but my initial thought was that too.
@@designedtothenines Oh, WOW. My granddad and his brother used to deal in woodworking back in the 50s 60s and 1970s. And I don't ever remember him mentioning that wood staining could possibly turn black.
I have always wanted to visit Maine ! And here I am with my favorite TH-cam lady😊 You really put your heart into that lazy Susan! That was so sweet ! Your sister in law will cherish that labor of love ❤️
I LOOOOOOVE Maine and wanna go thrifting with my favorite DIYer. Shhhh, don't tell the others.
That would be so fun! Hope you get some much deserved good news soon!
@@designedtothenines thank you, friend. I had my MRI on Tuesday. I don't get the results from it until October unless things change.
The first third of Jane Eyre is not easy - but you actually need it to really understand the second two thirds. The book is worth the determination it takes to get through the first part. I promise. (I guess you can tell that I love this book. Take your time and think of it as a slow growth gift to yourself.)
Well I always enjoy your videos and your upbeat presentation and fun challenges. This was a bit different and lots of fun with the 3 minute challenge. I hope you find out the value of your painting!!! Thanks for sharing your trip to Maine!
That looks like mold on the back of that piece. If it is, having it live in your home as is is a health hazard. If you're not familiar with mold, look it up.
Yep, definitely looks like mold. Replace the back when you can.
Renting your home with a molded piece in it is not good at all. My sister would end up in the hospital!! She is so allergic to mold!!
OMG guys she’s been doing this for a long time! Geez!
@douglashobson I’m sure she knows that! Just for the sake of finishing her project she left it and I’m sure she will fix it!! She is in the knowing and doesn’t need to look it up!
Geeze dude, u r a complete jacka$$. The more I read comments online, the more I realize how horrible people really are.
Definitely read Jane Eyre! I read it in high school and loved it. That was 45 years ago and I've read it about once a year since. I have many old copies of the book, when I see one I get it.
That was a fun and interesting video. Your long hair and the way you are wearing it looks very nice!! It has been a long time since I went to Maine and I think I should visit again.
I love your vision!!!!!! so cute!
Such a fun thrift shopping day NataLee! Thank you ❤
Great video!!
It was so fun! Thanks for sharing it with me! 💕
This video was so much fun. Thank you for sharing the thrift shopping. Your projects turned out beautifully. Love love love that Navy blue paint color. Your dream project would be amazing! You may have some hurdles to get over but, I think the town would approve your project. After all, it's more room for tourists to stay; so it's a plus for the town!
Your hair is getting really long and it looks BEAUTIFUL !!
Take care beautiful lady and God bless you and yours. ❤❤
It was nice to see something about Maine I live about 200 plus miles north of Harpswell❤
🥰🙏💕
That mirror is everything!
Thanks 🙏
I can see your tiny house vision Looks great
Love your dream project! The extra space would bring in so much income. Will be praying that the city allows you to grandfather some of the issues. Enjoyed this video so much!
Fun show today🌿🧡🍁🌿🧡🍁
I'm so glad!
awesome dream plan for the shed!!
I live in Maine and wondered which GW you went to!!! I enjoyed your makeovers and how easy you made them look! As the coast becomes more crowded, I doubt you will get a variance for your tiny house--but it is a lovely dream. It could be a lovely she-shed though! When we do our day trips, I love to go to thrift stores and antique places looking for treasures. I love lazy susans as a base for my dollhouses. They are great for gameboards and small portable TVs, too.
That’s the goodwill in Brunswick in cooks corner I’m from the area been there quite a few times😊
“I should have bought it when I saw it at Marden’s!” 🎶
Great hat!
😂💕Love it!
That would make a great tiny house. The upstairs surprised me. It’s nice. This was a fun video. It was nice to see some family. And it looked like you had fun and got to eat Lobster.
I really enjoyed your trip to Main. thanks foe sharing
LOVED IT! 💝Jenna's box lid would make a FABULOUS framed art piece. ⚓ Before you put your miter to rest, WILL YOU FRAME HER FOR ME? thanks love!🤭
PS. the property line...is a sticking point for sure. Not to be a debi downer, but you risk demolition order as it is non compliant. Is it possible to move it a smidge before addressing the committee?
I love the blue pieces. It is beautiful there. I would guess that painting to be very expensive it is beautiful.
What about a balcony to look at the ocean!! YES GORGEOUS!!
Wow!! I can't believe the good stuff in that store
Advice from a builders daughter is to expand through the extension/refurbishment of least resistance. Local government regulations are the foundation to build from, although as a dreamer myself I do love your ideas ❤❤. Loved your crazy last minute persistence over your gift.
Love Maine. Grew up in Nova Scotia and had family in Ontario, so lots of driving back and forth on both sides of the border. The east coast beaches are beautiful.
You sister-in-law Jenna is a lovely person.
Lighter maple syrup is more prized, but darker has a stronger flavour.
Love Jane Eyre. Persevere and you might too!
FYI, the pronunciation is Jack-o-be-an with the emphasis on either the first or third syllable.
Love the highboy.
Love the vision
Your dog is adorable!! Always love your videos - you worked so hard on your rental house!!
So fun😊
Nat that vision is absolutely amazing!! i so wish i had that shed, garage barn!! man i wish for i would build a bedroom on top for my grandkids when they come to stay over...they would have a blast!
Love the painting.
Oh my goodness!!! I’m 20 mins away. I hoped you enjoyed your trip here🤍
Such cute finds...I LOVE little tables like the skinny one you put by the couch. You would pay an arm & a leg around here for a cute little table like that (I live in Ky). I am WAAAAY to curious to know what your art ends up being valued at 😊, please update when you find out. Jenna is darling & now I can't wait to see her channel also, along with the charcuterie board lady (I'm sorry, her name has escaped me at the moment). I love your tiny house idea, think that would turn out so darn cute 💖. I need to stop babbling but just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this episode. The 3 minute challenges are so fun. One more thing before I close, you look absolutely radiant in this video Natalee. I think Maine agrees with you!🥰
What a fun video of you and your sister in law! When you first showed the 1908 painting, I said to myself, “I would be bringing that back to Georgia.” Even though I paint, I ALWAYS look at the artwork first no matter where I am thrifting. Loved the nautical theme you put on the lazy Susan. Now, please don’t be offended. I definitely felt like a kindred spirit when things didn’t go as planned. 🙄🙄🙄 Been there many times. Subscribed for your sister in law’s channel. Went to Maine and Canada right before Hurricane Matthew. It is beautiful country. I took many beautiful photos of the fall leaves. And, of course, the lobsters, are yummy!
WELCOME BACK HOME TO NEW ENGLAND!!
There's a movie of Jane Eyre out. I enjoyed the movie version. But do read the book, things are different in the book versus the movie.
Enjoyed ❤
First off, Your hair looks fantastic! I did enjoy your finds and your sister in law's as well. I have to say NH and VT are the maple syrup states in New England more so than ME. I think of blueberries and potatoes for Maine as well as seafood. (said with a giggle) I hope you have a great visit! Come back again!
in all my years of being in Maine to visit my family, Mom was born in Bath and grew up in Boothbay Harbor.. I've never been to a flea market!!
Wow I would love to go to Maine. I love lobster.
Great video!
