In 2016 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. Our sons were 11 and 13 when I was first diagnosed, and I was terrified that I was going to have my life cut short and not get to see my sons grow up. God brought me through. I have been cancer free for several years now. By the grace and mercy of God, I am enjoying seeing my sons participate in their college's track and field. I don't know why God chose to spare me, and my heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one to cancer, as I lost my dad to cancer. I'm just really, really thankful to be alive and well and leading praise and worship for a Celebrate Recovery service at my church. For a believer, if we live here it's good, but I suspect we cannot even imagine how much more wonderful it will be for us in the world to come. 💖

It is a miracle!! God is good!! I’m dealing with something very similar and my anxiety has caused a lot of stress but I’ve finally turned it over to God!! Jesus take the wheel is my new favorite saying!!!
Jesus will "take the wheel" when we let go! Just keep on keeping on, know HE IS in control. Pray scriptures nightly; pray to God with His Words! It makes a huge difference. 💕

NataLee, Hallelujah fantastic news!!! I’m thrilled for you, YEA!! I’m an old ICU RN and the encouraging update I can tell you about is that docs can do a valve replacement via the radial artery in your wrist. That’s an amazing advancement and means NO open heart surgery woohoo! So hopefully you will never have to have any heart surgery ever but if you know anyone else that might need one you can share this info to help alleviate some fear.

Natalie, I truly believe in miracles and what the Lord has done for you with all the heart issues you have had most of your life, is a miracle. I'm a cheetah girl, I have a guest bedroom with cheetah prints, a throw, and two palm tree prints with cheetah mats. I also have several cheetah clothing pieces. So for me, even though I loved all your makeovers, the lamp was by far my favorite. May God continue to bless you with continued good health and for giving such a gifted mind for all the creation you share with us weekly.

What a cloud turned into sunshine. I also had some great news. I had a condition that threatened my vision called Fuch's Dystrophy. In 2020, I had my cornea transplants and all was beautiful again. At the beginning of 2023, I noticed changes in my vision. Fearing regection, I saw my cornea team only to be told I have a rare autoimmune disease called birdshot chorioretinopathy. It affect 1:100,000 people. At tax time in 2023 I struggled to find the facts my husband needed. I lost my ability to drive. I can no longer get the cortisone shots in my severely arthric joints. I am now on 3 immunosuppressive drugs. At my late August 2024 retinology appointment, he was finally pleased with my progress and at my September Cornea appointment, I got the ok to drive again and my vision corrects to 20/20. This is huge. We live on a farm so no public transportation and in spring and fall during planting and harvest I would only get away for dr. visits and church and to sit in the car while my husband got groceries.
I’m so happy your sight was restored! That would be a difficult loss.💕
Great news about your heart health, what a miracle. The statue is a copy of the Pieta. I saw the real one at the World Fair in the 1960’s in NY C. It was on loan from the Vatican

It’s always fun to watch you two (or three) friends doing the 3 minute challenge. I would definitely have bought the really large pot you showed early in this video. My mantra is Go Big or Go Home! I always gravitate to big furniture and big floral containers. So happy you found your lamp to dupe the cheetah lamp. It was meant for you to find it. Also the black scale for $3.99. Switching the pumpkin from the old container into the woven top container was a game changer. Super video of all the thrift flips. And last but certainly not least, so happy that you got such wonderful health news! I’m sure that all of your family were beside themselves with gratitude to God. Prayers for continued good health.

My husband at age 69, healthy, non smoker, non drinker, exercised every day of his life, had a widow-maker heart attack in February. 4 stents were placed but there was so much damage that he needed a heart transplant. 5 months ago a donor heart was found and God blessed him with a new heart. He is a miracle. I understand your joy over the news. Praise and Thank God everyday. You were given a miracle. You are blessed. ❤
Wow! Congratulations on your healing!! That is wonderful! ❤I too was born with heart defects. WPW, an atrial septel defect (a hole in the heart) and Epsteins anomaly ( a heart valve defect) . My heart labored for years and it became enlarged. Years after having 3 minor strokes, I had a massive stroke in 2005 at 50 years old. I had no insurance which was frightening. But my cardiologist said he had never had a patient like me and suggested that I call different research hospitals to see if they would take my case. I was accepted at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where I received $130,000 in surgeries. I thank God and the doctors and all the people who helped me and I have had few problems since then. I believe that you can have the type of healing you have had. Sounds like you had similar problems. The very best to you. ❤Stay happy and healthy!! ❤❤❤

What wonderful news about your heart! I have dealt with 2 heart issues discovered in 2012. Mine are atrial fibrillation, which my dad had, and HOCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), which is the ailment that athletes will drop dead on the court or field from having never known they had it. I was likely born with it. At diagnosis, my heart septum was 2 cm thick. Oddly, 4 years ago, it was only 1 and 1/2 cm. Recently, it is now only a slight bump. My specialist can't believe it, but I also believe it is both a change in healthier living and a miracle from above. I'm hoping that at my next test, it will be gone, and I will only have the a-fib to be concerned over. Heavenly Father does provide miracles even in these days. I'm so happy for you!

Boy you don’t know what your parting statement means to people struggling. I was tired, beat up, needed love, and saving. Then I found a group of people who didn’t see what others saw.
