You read the question that you got wrong on the quiz backwards. It wanted to know features only on the Aquarius + over the original, not the other way around. Thanks for the video!

Excellent video. Lots of cool new features! Do you plan on making new games for the system?

That’s the plan if I can figure out how to set up the development environment :)

Not sure if you watched my whole video but my VGA to HDMI adapter has an audio input as well as the VGA, so it appears to then pipe out the video and audio via the HDMI port. I still have to test that but did not see an audio in on your adapter and why maybe the sound did not work if your monitor had speakers on it. I will be trying mine on the HDMI TV next and will use the audio port on my VGA to HDMI adapter next test.

My HDMI “dongle” actually has an audio cable attached to it which I connected but I was running it through the HDMI capture device into my computer. The sound did actually work when I tested it later on a TV so I suspect the issue was with the capture device or maybe the way I had the capture software setup. Yep I saw your videos also. Very enjoyable. Pretty sure your audio will work also if your monitor/tv has speakers.

Maybe when you come visit we can play a while on the AQ+ while you are here and maybe make a video together where we can each show it on our channels.

how does something like this compare with say a feonix256jr?

This is an evolution of the original Aquarius and is compatible with existing software. Foenix may have been inspired by the C64 since the designer originally began working on the Commander X16 then broke off to develop the Foenix which supports multiple different processors and seems to be lacking a distinct connection to a vintage platform. The Foenix seems to me to be more for collectors rather than users and developers who have nostalgia for a particular vintage system. Since I’m not developing games for the Foenix I can’t really comment more on the technical aspects of the hardware.

@@Spriteworx looks like a great little machine. I tried to join the facebook page but when i created the account it was instantly suspended so i guess ill just wait until it becomes available on ebay or something.
