- Our room at the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground during our February 2019 trip to Disneyland. This is our firework view room, room 611. The hotel was recently remodeled so the rooms were amazing!

This brings back memories when my family and I stayed at the HoJo back in 87 (first time going to Disneyland) when it was just Disneyland. The view was a nice view of the park and the Matterhorn and it was just a wide open parking lot :)
Glad to help bring back some memories ! How was it back then ? Wow I can only imagine how that view must have been back then and how different that area must have looked around the park!

Hello! I would love to stay at on of the Disney resorts! The Disneyland Resort looks so nice, just wish it wasn’t so much : ( We were thinking maybe at some point we could just do a night there then stay someplace else.

I've heard good things about Howard Johnson's. Fantastic room tour! I love that the room includes a microwave and refrigerator. Love it! Gotta love the balcony with a Disneyland view!
It was amazing! So glad we finally went with that hotel! We never ended up using the microwave but was nice knowing we could have! I hate how more expensive hotels won’t have that stuff. And it was a good size fridge! I’m sure all the other rooms are also super nice but having that view really made it for us! I don’t know if I could go now without the view lol.

This a place that we've considered staying at before but never have. Loved seeing the fact that they have Mickey art in the rooms. It sure looks better than the crappy motels we stay at! The fact they have a store selling Disney stuff would be bad for our wallets though!
You should check it out.. it was a little more then some of the other hotels on that street but not by much with the park view! It almost seems like all the hotels on that street have a little Disney gift shop now lol at least some of it is cheaper then the parks! Saw some nice Disney stuff at the Walgreens down the street
