Thank you very much! Yeah I do the best I can with the materials I can scrounge up (as cheap as possible lol). Also decided to start editing things as well as I can even if it takes a month to do in hopes it creates a more enjoyable view to everyone. My daughter is doing a lot better now thank you very much for asking!

Wow beautiful video, beautiful chickens, beautiful coop and most importantly beautiful man. This video really has me thinking about something that happened the other day and id like to share. I like to creep around my home and act like a goblin. I don’t know why but I just enjoy doing this. Maybe it’s my way of dealing with stress or something but I just do it about once every week. Generally I’ll carry around a sack and creep around in a sort of crouch-walking position making goblin noises, then I’ll walk around my house and pick up various different “trinkets” and put them in my bag while saying stuff like “I’ll be having that” and laughing maniacally in my goblin voice (“trinkets” can include anything from shit I find on the ground to cutlery or other utensils). The other day I was talking with my neighbors and they mentioned hearing weird noises like what I wrote about and I was just internally screaming the entire conversation. I’m 99% sure they don’t know it’s me but god that 1% chance is seriously weighing on my mind. Keep up the great work Reaper.

@@ProDoc18 I’m a slacker! Things have come up here and there and before you know it life started flying by! I’m going to get back on it soon and try to get a couple of videos out faster as I already have footage for 2-3 just sitting on a hard drive. These comments are what I needed! This coming week I’m gonna put the pedal to the metal on the edits! Thank you again for the support! It is hard to find good videos sometimes on TH-cam, and I really didn’t want to be like many other channels that just post any kind of content that’s low quality. I want them to add some value and maybe be somewhat of a cinematic experience if I can.

Thank you very much! I wasn’t sure how it would go as I did the editing on the fly and didn’t follow any specific style of video online I just went with the flow lol. My daughter is 100% better now and fully recovered (she had been pecked in the eye and had to get several weeks of antibiotics after an ER visit). I plan to get the next video finished and get some more videos out soon hopefully!

You'd be surprised how little space you need to raise some chickens. You don't need to get a bunch remember you can just get like 2-3! lol

@TheVikingReaper the flock of 6 have grown 😅, I couldn't help myself and ordered a few celadons, which brings my total to 11.
As of right now. I have 2 laying hens. The eggs are tiny but perfect for a snack or small salad. Our house is in a neighborhood with an annoying HOA so it's interesting trying to homestead around it on 0.9 acres.
@@TheOnlyPapaDragon ahhh the old HOA, yeah as long as no one narcs you out you should be ok. Sounds like you’ll have to start giving the neighbors some eggs lmao. Quail are pretty cool I’ve thought about getting some but I’m not sure how they are as far as letting them out in your yard. Do they fly around a lot? Do they know to go in at sundown? I’ve heard they will just go off and lay eggs anywhere so it’s hard to let them free range but I may have just read a bad source. Also .9 acres is plenty! I’m on .4! Lmao

Quail aren't good to let out and lay, they are too wild to put themselves away. They are pretty good for egg production,but letting them out is tricky due to them getting scared easily and flying.

How much did it cost you to build? What are the overall dimensions? Thanks! Looks awesome. Like the improvements.
The mini coop costs me nothing, it was just scrap from the original larger build I did and even that I used scrap lumber from jobsites fortunately. The mini coop is pretty small. Maybe 7 feet long including the run. Box aka the housing for the chicks is about 2’x2’

Another great job, but what happened? I can see from your channel image that the chickens are thriving and you completed the hot box.
Daughter ended up getting pecked in the eye by a chicken. Led to a few weeks of putting antibiotics in her eye 3 times a day and luckily she made a full recovery, could have been a lot worse. Between that and a bunch of other stuff going on I’ve had the next video at 50% edited. I really need to get on it and finish it! Thank you for watching and inquiring!

I tried looking them up cpl months back and it said i needed access. And now that the s2 trailer and news finally dropped i wana give it another watch haha
Yeah its all about the algorithm otherwise I’d keep it. I’ll leave them up until I launch the next video unless these suddenly take off. They’re all back up, funny enough episode 3 I thought they’d do origin stories for everyone and they started off with atom eves origin story so maybe my predictions will be accurate.

She is good now thank you for asking. The brooder is all set up and everyrhihg went well. Had an interesting experience with the chicks that hatched from a hen and the ones from the incubator. Night and day differences in them. Between my daughter and things coming up I’ve been delayed on the next video but I am working on it now so hopefully it’ll be up in the next few weeks.

@@a123phi5 Thank you, she is doing much better now and made a full recovery! I had a lot come up and was very busy for a while but im working on editing the next video now and should have it up in the next couple of weeks. There was a huge difference between the chicks that grew up from a brooder Vs the ones that were raised by a brooding hen! As far as the hawk attack, that sucked but even more predators have come since then… 3 bears, a coppers hawk, red tailed Hawk, foxes. The house is under attack almost every night at this point! But I’ll save that for another video lol
