thanks for putting this video up! i love this show and this is one of my fave episodes. i uploaded it a few months ago but it was deleted when youtube deleted my account :(
These two used to be a double act when starting out on the Comedy circuit, they were called Rubber bishops. Can tell they;ve worked together alot, great TV
Bill and Sean have been good friends for over 20 years. They started stand-up about the same time, and even briefly collaborated on one stage act. Anything with them is TV Heaven. Comedy Heaven would be them forming a troupe with Izzard, Merton, Fry and Laurie. Their generation's Monty Python.
British comedy is very good, well done. That means NOTHING about British dramas. I am watching this video because I am a Bill Bailey fan and have seen him live twice. I also live in the UK but have no misunderstandings about Casualty being better than ER.
I can totally see where you're coming from, but I have no trouble telling them apart when they're speaking to each other. But if you played a clip of just one of them to me, I would struggle to tell who it was. It's a bit like how my mom could never tell the difference between Graham's voice and Lawrence's voice on Changing Rooms.
@ukstevey I think they did two series, then Bill hosted 'The Comedian's Choice' and Sean guested on that. Its a good sequel to this as they address the ending incident...
i wonder if they will make a progam of us watching big brother in our house...then we'll be watching a program watching us watching big brother. then we'd need to film that ....
have you ever nociced that aoround the same time the comedians make the same jokes on obscure subject matters like lee evens did a joke about rasers on his new DVD but so did dara obrian on his new dvd do you think comedians do the same subjects but change the jokes a bit like some sort of club
Yes, I feel sorry for myself: I'm interested in other people's opinions, how tragic. Look mate, shall we call it a night? I'm right but I let ya off, some people would have said a lot worse.
No. I'm not going to mark you down for this. It's just comedy conciousness. It would be really odd, would it not, if comedy never overlapped? With enough people being productive enough on the circuit, you'll inevitably have almost everysubject covered. Almost everyone shaves, man. It's not such a leap.
Listen, remember my name, Ciara Egan coz in 5 years time I'll be doing a comedy set at the apollo, the comedy store, you name it. Then we'll see who the loser is.

They used to perform together as a double act, thats why they are so good together.
"the otter's quite vicious." said Bill Bailey calmly.
xD
love the way sean just casually says "would you let him bugger you bill?"
These two... epicness...
"That's a hat."
"Oh you.. tryin' to trick me with your big words."
They work well together, similar style and delivery.

Comedy Heaven would be them forming a troupe with Izzard, Merton, Fry and Laurie. Their generation's Monty Python.
Sean Lock and Bill Bailey used to be a comedy double-act called the Rubber Bishops.
They're like Bevis and Butthead when they're laughing together! Love Sean and Bill!
It's like watching two comedy twins ♥
The Great Curve is a fantastic track.

One Rubber Bishop interviewing another, chaos lol...

4:01 transcribed subtitles "voted to penetrate but i think for the ladies here"
Similar styles of comedy from both, but they compliment each other.
The lee mack one is perfect for that :)
It's the Rubber Bishops together again.
I bet ITV2 would commission a Peter Andre series where he's around cows!
'ah now the otters theyre beautiful creatures when you see them swimming... actually their vicious little bastards!'
@ukstevey I think they did two series, then Bill hosted 'The Comedian's Choice' and Sean guested on that. Its a good sequel to this as they address the ending incident...

Turn the subtitles on and have a laugh.
LMFAO From 7:50 onward I couldn't breathe for laughing
@000steelandstone000 Yeah called the Rubber Bishops or something...
That was Toby Longworth and Bill Bailey rather than Lock and Bailey
@williammelvin i think its coz they have been good mates since the 80's
Remarkably similar aren't they!?
"would you let him bugger you Bill?"
They're really similar aha!
i would agree there...but in a funny way!!!
6:55
This is only brilliant telly because of the banter, theres no awkward silence coz they've known each other so long.
Rubberbishops are brilliant.
"we lose a lot like that"
They did.
if you want to see people dance about in a funny way type in "dancers of st.bedes" to be blown away
He doesn't seem high to me... he seems just like he always is!
@kazcjow You mean like, all the time? :P
@kazcjow he always does. Think it's just the way he is and his accent helps aswell.
two words to disprove that: the wire
@kazcjow him and sean are really good friends so i wouldnt be suprised if they shared a smoke before hand.

I think Bill only owns the one shirt.
He did a documentary program about Benedict Cumberbatch?

@Zougeiro It would seem so.
@MrItsabeautifulday No, he smokes a lot of weed. He doesn't touch cocaine.
Yes, I feel sorry for myself: I'm interested in other people's opinions, how tragic. Look mate, shall we call it a night? I'm right but I let ya off, some people would have said a lot worse.
@kazcjow That's Bill Bailey
@kazcjow That's just Bill...

Cheese for weasles!

Nah, mate,

Listen, remember my name, Ciara Egan coz in 5 years time I'll be doing a comedy set at the apollo, the comedy store, you name it. Then we'll see who the loser is.
Bill has fart hair,
Alastair McGowan = blouse.
