2017 Chevy Cruze DTC P0480 and P0691 Diagnostics related to Blown Fuse

This project car 2017 Chevy Cruze LT Hatchback had hit a deer previously and the cooling fan wire got shorted and the fuse was blown/burnt. So I had a hard time locating that fuse at first because as it turns out it was not a conventional old fashioned fuse. As it turns out it was a well hidden 80 amp fuse.

Ur soider is alot stronger than the fuse breakage,so that won't work, but a fuse block will

Yeah that's the craziest thing I ever saw when I took mine apart,but I went back with all individual fuses and never blew it again yet,knock on my head

So what is up with this Cruze. Is it reliable or what? Is it just crashes is that why things are going out on it. I haven’t heard anything else from anyone. A lot of people own these cars without problems. And like it doesn’t seem like Chevy to have a brand new car that messes up.

I have a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze & so far the only issue I’m having is my USB port isn’t working so I’m not about to access my Apple car play my Bluetooth also doesn’t work but my aux port does work …that’s the only issue I’m having with this car at the moment & I had it for two years 3 years in august of this year 2021

I think on mine the cooling fan was not coming on due to blown fuse. Hope this helps. Good luck!

So i dont have check engine codes but i noticed the fan wont turn on. I turn Ac on and it wont turn on either. I checked the fuse and it looks good. Any suggestions?
