thanks for posting this - a tip - while you're working, get a wobble pop, empty it (don't waste it), and use the aluminum from the empty can to wrap the piston to make a slide to get the o-rings passed the lock there is just enough clearance and it makes the experience far less nervewracking.
Thank you! I was able to size down my 8" ram to 6" but i used a PVC 3/4 coupling as the spacers and not the cutting board🤙 and only had to drill out the center stop inside the coupling.
I know this is an old video but i often double stack holesaws to cut out "rings" you can thread a smaller holesaw inside a larger oner with certain arbors
Yeah it’s called an oops arbor and I actually have one and used it in a different video. Honestly I kind of blanked on using it when I made this one lol
It was quite the ah hah moment when I was trying to think of what I could use or what I had that was Nylon haha. I had to buy her a new one but it was like $7
Let's address the elephant in the room; how bad was the ass-chewing from the wife? Back to the serious side of things, just found your channel this morning and I'm glad I did. I'll be doing this to my F-250 in the not too distant future and you did a great job explaining it as well as your other video on setting the whole system up. When it happens, I'll make sure I give you credit in the video I make of it.

I like the idea, no clue what a wobble pop is though lol
@@FlawedOffroad an adult beverage that comes in a can... in this case, the can is more important so you could use a soda can too

Just replace it with a nice teck or other hard wood cutting board. After researching the wood are much better.
You did her a favor.😁
Well she didnt want wood, so she got a 3 pack Amazon special instead. I didn’t even have to trudge through a store 😅
@@FlawedOffroad nice she won't miss it then. Play the dumb card. Hehe it's what I tell my wife.😂
Awesome 👏🏻
Did he get cut by the unibit ?
Nope I never let it touch me, I tried putting it in my drill press vice but it was crushing it so I tried holding it and channel locks
Fuck yeah buddy, that's good ingenuity. 👍

It was actually my stepdaughter that threw a fit, I brought the carcass in the house and threw it back in the cupboard 😆
Think the material is HDPE.
at the time I was thinking uhmw but couldn’t think of the real names of any of it😅
