Really beautiful Bible. I just received my KJV Clarion and absolutely love it. I want to get either a ESV or CSB as an alternative for home reading and then a third Bible for Study. Thank you for your thorough videos.👍☕🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for an excellent review, Mark, I may have to add this new CSB Diadem to my Cambridge collection. BTW... if you have any influence at Cambridge (which I'm sure you do), could you please try to persuade them to publish a Diadem in the NLT? After all, they used to publish the NLT in a Pitt Minion (I have one), so it shouldn't be too difficult to increase the text block size for a Diadem. Just a thought, but I'd be first in line to purchase it. Thanks again, Mark. Blessings to you and yours.
I've been waiting for something like this. I like the CSB, and not to say that Holman doesn't do enough, but it's just that I haven't encountered a text size and layout combination that they have thus far produced that I like. So I've been waiting for other publishers to have a crack at the CSB. This looks great, and I love the orange color, but I just haven't seen a Diadem in person so I don't know if the text size is too small for me. Space in between the lines and boldness of the text is the most important.
@@BurtonBibles unfortunately I'm in the US. 😂 But thank you for this wonderful, in-depth look at the text that they've produced. For what it's worth, I love the Cameo, despite it being 8pt font, It's wonderfully readable. And I know you love the Cameo too. Is the Diadem's font comparable in readability?
Ah that’s too bad! No I would say the cameo is more readable for me in terms of font clarity and boldness. These new digital typefaces are crisper and very neat but are less bold.
Thank you for the review. Haven’t read the CSB much. Like what I see. My church uses NRSV and I’ve heard a rumour that Cambridge might be releasing it as a Diadem?
@@BurtonBibles Thanks for the input! I saw you unboxing the KJV Personal Concord Reference Bible today. You mentioned that it would be a bargain because it was a 'seconds' (return). Any idea when you will list it and what the price will be?
Looking at the video, there seems to be a lot of show through. I know the camera can exaggerate this but is it as obvious in real life as it is in the video? Thanks. Would love an ESV on the burnt orange
Hi, nah that will be the office LED lighting, plus the camera exaggerates. It is absolutely fine and the same as any other modern Jongbloed/Indopaque edition.
I'm sorry, the orange cover is difficult to look at , IMO. I suppose it is a generational thing. Full disclosure, I have been known to buy a Bible that has a cover other than black goatskin... maybe. lol
Mike, I never thought in a million years that I would buy an orange Bible, but then I went and purchased a Humble Lamb NKJV Shepherd Bible in orange. And guess what? I love it. So go ahead, Mike. Buy the orange CSB Diadem - you'll be a happy man.
@guymontag349 I reject Humble Lamb on principle alone. Are you aware of the details surrounding the HiStory release? I bet not. And no, I dont like an Orange Bible and I never will. No plans to buy one. It's personal preference, you don t see that?
I like this
Me too!
I agree. I hope this is a gateway to a CSB Pitt Minion. I would buy one immediately.
I would too!
I sincerely hope so! all they need to do is shrink the diadem text!
In a instant brother! @leonidaspringle
That burnt orange is gorgeous!
Such a refreshing change!

Thank you! Sounds like a good plan!

Is cambridge going to do an aguialla version of this?
Wow that would be amazing! 🤩

Nice! I’m sure that’s a possibility.
What do you think about the NASB Diadem? Is it the 2020 translation?
Yes I believe it is?
@@BurtonBibles What do you think about the NASB Diadem ?
@@captainnolan5062 I like it, like all the Diadem editions!

Mark how would this compare to the Cambridge Concord in terms of readability, type size, etc.?
Well?
I would say it’s clearer as it’s a digital typeface, but the font is probably a touch smaller in the Diadem? Also paragraph v verse by verse layouts…
My wife bought me the Navy blue
Mint!
You're a lucky man!

when is the NIV coming out?
ooh not sure!

Great Vid , God bless you 🙏🏼✝️❤️
Highly doubtful sorry!

To be fair it was a friendly suggestion 😀🙏🏼
I’m extremely happy with it glad you are too! The more colours the better IMO! 😀🙌
