These are so fun (for us) and exciting. We can’t see you thinking and talking etc. in your outdoor races, so this view is super interesting. Thanks for bringing these to us. Well done, and sorry to see you are not feeling well. Take care.
Love these videos, amazing effort. It would be great to see more of your Zwift screen throughout the video though! We wanna see whats going on in the race too!
Awesome video! I hope you feel better soon. One important thing to keep in mind when racing on Zwift is that there is a slight delay between when you pedal harder and when your avatar in the game responds. For example, when you're approaching a steep climb after a downhill, you'll want to start increasing your power output a second or two before you actually hit the hill. This way, your avatar will already be putting in the effort by the time you reach the incline. Happy riding!
I love hearing “Coach Reese” in the background. My husband does the same thing and it’s great! Love watching these! Show a bit more of the race screen would be great!
Another cracking video, it’s inspiring to see how deep you go, feeling sick from effort and go again. Time to embrace inner Lucy in next hard session. There is always a fight to the end
Great result - one thing I've learnt on Zwift with the Wahoo bike is if you brake on descents - you get into aero tuck quicker!! Every little bit helps
Not gonna lie, when i watched it on Zwift channel and there was no Roadrunner start like last time i was slightly disappointed😆 Didn't realise you were flu'd up and you still came 5th!! Outstanding as always💪🏻⭐
I'm assuming there's a good reason why it's not in this one, but last video, where there was more Zwift stuff on screen, was a lot easier to follow and fun to watch, as you can see the other competitors and get a better understanding of what's going on. Congrats on 5th place, it was a great effort (especially with a cold)!
Hi guys what is your preferred way to get all of my bike/body sensor readings on one app on my phone or on one cycling computer? I totally could benefit from these while on my aerobars for race day
Well done Lucy! 👏💪👍😎 FYI those four women who beat you are the world’s best esports riders. McCarthy, Guerra and Fuhrer just came top three in UCI esports world championship! And Kate Kulchinsky has been racing in esports at the very top level for a long time. Just curious. Have you considered using Maurten bicarb about an hour before the race? It has proven benefits for races where you’re going at and over your lactic threshold.
@ Thanks. Was interested to see what they were using. Only ever ran swift from a tablet but looks like there on a PC with a handheld tablet to control it.
Brutal. Hubby comes in and barks out instructions whilst clutching a beer. Doesn’t even give her a hug at the end….now I understand why LCB has 2 dogs…up ya game Reece.
😂 I have to tell my girlfriend about the dogs licking the sweat/salt off your legs! Her dog loves licking my legs after Zwift and my girlfriend gets grossed out. I’ll say “But all the pros are doing it too!”
You need to buy some calibrated plates. Most any other weights will always be off, some more than others, even if made by the same company. Calibrated plates, not so much.
I'll say it...I know Reece is being supportive and he knows Lucys limits....but honestly that was a bit much...she's sick for goodness sake....but that's only my personal opinion. Awesome job LCB...feel better soon.
If you're willing to look at it from another perspective: as a coach the only useful and supportive thing you can do at this point - when she ALREADY decided and started to race - is to give her instructions and valuable insights. So that she can ride more tactically, stay stronger, think less about the strategy while putting so much effort. Notice how it's always her who has a final say on what her limits are and how hard she can push throughout the entire race. Best! Awesome and inspiring effort Lucy!
Reece like a Boss! Instructions with the beer in his hand 🤣

Noted for the next one!
Hundred percent, this is actually what I was going to comment. I stopped half way through when I realised we weren’t seeing any racing
ye pretty pointless video wihtout seeing what going on what were they thinking lol

Love these videos! I liked the addition of the 'race footage' last time as well though for a bit more context and story :)

Class that Reece has turned this into a drinkng sport.

Brilliant well done, love these videos taking us more inside the race.
so motivating. because of the scale, I noticed that weighing on wooden floor sometimes shows inaccuracies compared to hard floors like tiles.
Oh so that's why her 10kg dumbbell weighs 9.9kg. Interesting!
dont tell the tricks
Love the editing on this one, better than anything on TV!
These are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
Great work!! very inspiring🎉
Streaming cold, hard race, top 5, superstar!
Not gonna lie, when i watched it on Zwift channel and there was no Roadrunner start like last time i was slightly disappointed😆 Didn't realise you were flu'd up and you still came 5th!! Outstanding as always💪🏻⭐
“Out the gate at 600 watts”🥵🥵🥵 😂 yeah that’s not normal 💪💪 amazing
Brilliant effort LCB :)
Awesome video. The combination with the zwift screen last time was more catching though
Nice work! Just wondering if you have any issues with the Maurten bottles valves not flowing/not staying open?
Great mindset for a coach. Sipping a beer while supervising training.
She’s coughing and breathing hard. He’s coaching with a beer in his hand haha 😂
Nice video, but would have liked to have seen the actual race
The full race can be viewed here: th-cam.com/users/livehQZ6CKiZQ7k?si=MWb7LyGKHZsYjl4M
Women’s race starts at about 1hour 58mins 😊
Reece on point with bossing from the back and use the draft 🧨 Need some Lime in that bottle as-well Reece 🍋🟩
Love you LCB!
So amazing!!!

Kristen Kulchinsky….
Sorry my mistake. 👍
Ama need that playlist boss. 🙏
@15:53, dude sitting there drinking a beer “keep peddling”. That’s rich buddy lol
Impressive ride. Would like to have more cuts of the race/screen so we could see what is being contested
Why do I get nervous watching 🤣
Please can I ask what the lotion is u put on legs ? PR ? Thanks
Lucy the best👍
Good to see that my dogs are not the only ones that can’t wait for me to get off the bike and start licking my legs. 😂
great job but please be careful you don't get myocarditis from training while sick 🙏
🎉🎉🎉
Well done. Interesting to see. What’s the Zwift setup you have for this?
Kickr bike
@ Thanks. Was interested to see what they were using. Only ever ran swift from a tablet but looks like there on a PC with a handheld tablet to control it.
Does Zwift not allow us to see the actual race?
This is fun, but if we could get some more footage of the screen/race would be better to understand the race dynamics etc
You've got to look for calibrated plates if you want the actual weight to be spot on. Regular weight plates always have some variance.
That was a slightly uncomfortable watch. I hope you take the time to recover fully. ❤❤ well done.
Overall 🎉
Caffeine can start taking effect quickly but is the most effective 30-60 minutes post consumption depending on the person
Can you screen record the next one to overlay so we see the gaps Coach Reece is talking about?
Lucy - > Maurten Reece -> Corona ah, the joys of coaching. BTW it's spelled "prime," but pronounced preem.
Wait so what place did you come in ?
Celente!
Watch Industry!
how many beers did he do innis one
A beer drinking man beside a struggling woman. Good stuff :)
I felt really bad for you when you were coughing 😭
Reece is drinking beer. What is he doing? Mic dropped:)
Great video, but we want to see the action on the screen too!
Why not show the race screen???
Thats my zwift racing moto... if you dont feel sick at some point youre not racing hard enough
That looked disgusting. I hope you get revenge by coaching Reece when he's racing
Brutal. Hubby comes in and barks out instructions whilst clutching a beer. Doesn’t even give her a hug at the end….now I understand why LCB has 2 dogs…up ya game Reece.
Zzzz..
Boss level coaching there!
So we have here: Performance for 5' is 345W and 20' is 300W, could be better. :)
Would have been nice to see what is happening on screen at the same time
Does anyone know what bike she is riding on?
Kickr Bike
Get Reese a lime
‘All you’ve got to do is not get dropped’
Sorry, can't give a thumbs up without race footage.
😂 I have to tell my girlfriend about the dogs licking the sweat/salt off your legs! Her dog loves licking my legs after Zwift and my girlfriend gets grossed out. I’ll say “But all the pros are doing it too!”
Isn’t it super dangerous to race that hard when you have symptoms in your lung ??
Corona new sponsor?

To be fair to Reece he did tell me not to do the race in the first place 😅
@@LucyCharlesBarclayhe def knows how to get the best out of you
