1982 430 Husqvarna Twinshocker

This superb 1982 Husqvarna Twinshocker was re-built by Scottish rider Brian Allardyce. Brian used a 1982 CR 250 and a 1982 WR 430 of which both were non-runners to be donor bikes for this new project.

it reminds me of mine... what an awesome motocrosser it was...i used to go riding in Virginia Key in Miami back in the day. All my buddies in their more modern japanese MX bikes couldn't keep up with me. I would be going full throttle in soft deep sand with no problem!

.1982430 cr had maroon tank, bare cylinder ,gold fork legs. 250s had red tank Beautiful bike though.1982 430 was the best bike I had. I had 5 new huskys

thanks for correcting me dave. a good mate of mine [a champion spark plug rep] had one . when i had a 82 yz 250 j in 82, i rember having some good battles with him, on his 500. in late 82 i part exchanged my yz for a 1983 490 maico, big mistake , six gearboxes rebuilds and three rear shocks, put an end to my motocross.
he must of had an early release bike in late 82?
