I accessed a 12 year old Xbox 360 account and did this to all the "recent" players...

- Back in the nostalgic MW2 days on the Xbox 360, we had Machinima Respawn creators who pretty much inspired gaming on TH-cam in general. I remember coming home from school and watching them all the time. One of the ones I remember are ONLYUSEmeBLADE. At the time, I was such a fanboy, that I created a fanboy gamertag, impersonating him. This worked back then and some people actually thought I was ONLYUSEmeBLADE. I played MW2 on that gamertag until the 1 month gold trial expired on that account. After it expired, I pretty much forgot about this gamertag. It sat on an old hard drive for my old Xbox 360 for over a decade.
This account was not accessed since 2010. Although this video is not as emotional as my last one, you guys seemed to really like the previous one. And so, it motivated me to try to access this old one. On some hard drives, I have plenty of old and forgotten gamertags that haven't been accessed for years. And they have beeb sitting in the Xbox 360 database with other inactive gamertags, that once enjoyed gaming but since moved on. Revisitng this nostalgic gamertag was like looking into a time capsule, and seeing what that kid 12 years ago was doing on the Xbox 360.
I sent a message to all of the recent players that were last met 12 years ago. I don't expect them to respond, let alone read it as most of them are inactive and have been for the past decade. But I'm hoping one day, these gamers log into their old Xbox 360 consoles and see it, only to remember those simple and nostalgic memories we all shared as gamers.

It may not seem like much for some people who haven't experienced these days. Nostalgia is different for everyone. But it's hard to believe something like this happened 12 years ago. I remember the Xbox 360 in 2010 very vividly, as if it just happened yesterday. But it happened more than a decade ago, leaving many of these gamertags to serve as absolute memories to a time that was so fun yet simple.

I had a huge friends list on the Xbox 360, including random people from all around the world. And my real life friends of gaming age at that time.
On my Xbox One (fresh gamertag) I have... nobody. Xbox Live these days feels so sterile and fleeting, with no real sense of community at all. You barely ever hear anyone talking because Microsoft didn't bundle a headset with the newer systems, meaning barely anyone has one.
Bundling the headset with the 360 added _so_ much to Xbox Live and made it feel truly alive. Everyone had one, therefore almost everyone used it. Some of the trash talk was utterly hilarious.
Microsoft made a big mistake by not doing that on the future consoles and it reminds me of the early days of the PS3, where no headsets made it just feel like fancy bots.

2007 was one of my favorite years of all time. I remember turning on my Xbox 360. Turn on my tv. Connect the controller and playing halo 3 or Call of duty 4. Man I miss those days. Now I’m so old that I want to come back to 2007

I remember buying Bioshock on a whim in late 2007 - and hated it.
Not so long afterwards, I walked into a physical games store to buy Halo 3 the morning after the midnight launch and was worried I wouldn't be able to get it because of huge demand. Nah, they had loads of copies and I got one no problem.
In May 2008 I remember getting the last copy of GTA IV in the shop. I had promised my friends I wouldn't play it until I'd got my coursework done, which is something I didn't stick to - cue messages from my RL friends on Xbox Live trolling me because I had caved and was playing the game instead.
November 2008, I actually swerved the on-off girlfriend I was seeing at the time so I could go to the Gears of War 2 midnight launch. We were in a university social club together, the club met on Thursday evenings and there was always a social in a nearby bar afterwards - her and I used to walk to and from there together.
Perry Como sang of "magic moments" and I now totally understand what he meant. It's amazing what wonderful, happy memories come flooding back with the right triggers.

Gamers are more than just people. They are real humans going through everything together sharing laughs and much more. Gaming is not just a hobby, it's a way to meet new people and share moments that won't ever be forgotten.
The fact that other things have also drifted off into the past alongside these early 2010's memories just makes me so sad (Ex. Going to the Kmart/Toys R Us game section / Going to GameStop when it was actually a good store). Makes you appreciate those times so much more.

Awesome video! I can remember so clearly, back in 2011, I was a big fan of Battlefield 3. And I played a multiplayer game mode, Rush, that you had to destroy or defend 2 objectives to move on to the other area. We were defending and I was at one objective with this other guy. We had the same weapon and holding back the attackers and helping each other out. Ended up sending a friend request that he accepted and played lots of games together. We grew older and played less with each other and soon after that not at all. I still have him in my friend list today. Maybe I should send him a message too, I'm sometimes wondering if he still thinks about this as I do. I can still see the image in my head of that first moment together at the objective so clearly.

2010 one those best days for me since was around 8th grade starting 9th grade.. I remember so many good memories playing mw2,halo3 and gears of war on Xbox live. And to this day I still have the same account from back then and still active.

I still love my 360. I didn't play online much back then because in my country the Xbox Live suscriptions were expensive, but I've been playing lately some classics. Such fun memories, and so much simpler times. Life was much easier back then...

I have an old account I occasionally use for Skyrim with a recent player list well over 3,000 days old. I think the exact same things when I scroll down my recent players list (thought I was the only one with these soppy thoughts). Only 2 or 3 ever come online. I remember when my uncle gave me his Xbox 360 back in 2010. Since i didn't know how to make an account back then, he let me borrow his account as well until i made my own account in 2013. It's crazy how time flies so fast day by day. Till this day, my 360 remains strong and steady, along with my account

Man back in the Xbox 360 days i used to play Cod bo1 with my big brother, i would come back to school and play Minecraft and everyday i would slowly build a very big house with wood and cobblestone, and sometimes my uncle's kids would come over and play some Toy Story 3, and split screen, good memories.

I used to play GTAV with some British dude back in like 2014. Can't remember his name, but I remember him and his buddies walking me through Heists and taking the time to explain them to me.

In 2012 I mainly played PS 1 games I had as a kid and mainly stored all my old original music as well as music from my old cell phones on the PS 3
(some I accidentally broke, some got stolen as well as cameras).
However, it is pretty nostalgic going back to all of my old CDs and all of my MP3s I ripped from online back in 2010 to 2012 or so when local kids from the library taught me what an mp3 was.
But nowadays I heard on the PS 5 I cannot play past PS games on the console.
It’s cool how I still have people on my friends list voice on the message brings back so many memories btw I am sorry for your lost it would be awesome if you found a voice message of your sister in one of the messages.
Man i have so many memories of playing 360 games with my friends and skipping school and stuff time flies.

I religiously play my 360. I didn't grow up on a one I grew up on the OG xbox and the 360, slim etc. I love replaying my childhood games and have people to play with online still.and dang that GG in the end hit hard

I remember when I was a kid getting a Xbox 360 for Christmas was the best present ever I played everyday for hours on end. Best Christmas in my childhood I still remember it and always think about that

Though, I was quite active on the WII U (Silly I know)
I made all of friends and made alot of memories. Most of it on Minecraft WII U edition.
However, slowly, people I met and known started disappearing, until I only had 2...then my WII U drift happened. So I couldn't play either.
I recently checked it and saw that someone was still active, my friend who I still speak to via xbox one and discord...
But uh...he still played and still had WII U friends...but I looked back at all of them had never been on for months, some years...my first friend was last on for 6 years and we were close...people I made so many memories with...I miss those times...

@@Chuked Don't get me wrong I agree with you, but unfortunately now, there's this new thing called 'Lobby Disbanding' where the lobbies break up after every match and apparently it's here to stay for all future CoD titles. If it's true, then playing with randoms will never be the same again, because it feels like there's almost no point in interacting with anyone. On a positive note, this feature hasn't made it's way into Co-op, yet...
We all had great memories on Xbox360 and PS3 we all made great memories in those times. Whether it’s hearing squeakers in the lobbies, 1v1 quickscoping, getting across map kills, ninja defuses, trick shots, zombies, getting humiliated in stick and stones and gun games, playing private lobbies and playing Michael Myers, One day…we will relive them again.

I remember the times of skype where i met someone who was one of my best friends of that time now we did have a bad falling out but then discord came along and i met knew people and then we moved on i was able to get in touch with a few of the people but some just ignored me or asked who i was and then blocked me because i had changed my username
Honestly minecraft back in the skype days was fun but as i grew i slowly became more and more introverted
Yea i was one of those people who would go in chat and ask if people had skype/discord it how i met most of the people i played with and it was were i had the most fun it reminds me of not only the good but sadly the bad that came with it but at least i had others to get me through that which makes me happy remembering it now

My Xbox 360 died in the past by the Ring of dead. Since then it never turned on. I miss my childhood. It was amazing.
I remember when I was a kid and I used to play the original Xbox with my cousin we always played halo and trying to get every skull and beat it on legendary when we Saw the Xbox 360 we were excited about it and after halo 2 and when halo 3 and modern warfare came out we played with people online and made a small family after I moved I lost contact with everyone and when I got myself the Xbox 360 I played waw and met people on zombies and I still talk to them to this day but my old friends from black ops and halo reach I lost contact with them I still miss the people I made friends and it's not the same it's the memories we make when we have friends that we always remember.....thank you Xbox 360 you made us happy and have fun and I will always remember laughing with random people I have met who would be my friends

To answer your question, around that time, I was doing a k-4 schoolwide christmas play all the way back in 3rd grade. That school I went to is still there. But it was repurposed to an office. I know this because I did work experience training there around 3 years ago. I was sad when I learned that it wasn't the same place I knew, I was really looking forward to seeing all the young kids while I worked.
Yet it still had the evidence that it was once a small school. The gym was the same, the downstairs area where all the classrooms were were almost unchanged, the walls still had the old paint, artwork and school photos. (Except for all the ones that I was in...😡) My brother has gone there a few times in the past year and has given me some insight. I saw that the school garden was still there, which I'm happy for because I believe I might've planted a raspberry bush there. A lot has happened since then.
Heyy bro was very touch with this video, I know how hard it is to lose a loved one, but back in 2010, I was still in high school and getting my diploma, that year I lost both my grandparents from my dads side and my aunt, also lost my brother the follow year, it was one of the hardest year of my life, but I’m thankful where I’m at today, I now have 3 daughters who look up to me and call me daddy, it’s the best feeling in the world. Anyways I still have my GT from way back then, I forgot when I got it, anyways very touching, thanks for the content keep up the good work

Took out my Xbox from the closet the other day and I couldn’t log into my account anymore cause I lost my email and I can’t recover it.. VERY SAD!!! Just wanted to see if ah few of my old friends from my childhood still played or to see my recent players to reminisce with my fellow gamers I grew up with, but I won’t be able toooo.
But at least I know after all the years that pass but no matter how old we get, we will always remember the funnest of times with the boys weather it was acting sick to not go to school or all the all nighters and the split screens!!!

Hey. Didn't know if you knew this or not but when a players profile shows "Code of Conduct" throughout it, it means that they are either 12/31/9999 banned or have been banned in the past but never changed their bio, location, etc again.
I know that. Sometimes, their profile might not say it if they never had a bio filled out though.
I remember playing the heck out of Crackdown 2 with a very good friend of mine. His gamertag was Shmorg1452. I have a picture of our characters together on my 3DS.

I got the Xbox 360 elite in 2013 and since I was playing every day When the Xbox one came all my Friends stop playing and play on the Xbox so did I I found my Xbox 360 play and have fun again
