I wouldn't be surprised if it was partly the intention with the release of Hitman (2016) to make the main storyline missions look like another of Agent 47's usual bounties.
I love the escalation of these briefings across the games You go from, “this guys forging artwork go kill him” to shit like “this man is lax building inspector who’s let massive amounts of people die go kill him but dont hurt his escorts.”
I think when you find the building instructor in the level Diana says something like "how does it feel to meet a man with a bigger body count than yours?"
9:50 is simply perfect A psycho of unconventional origin The cheff before this target is also hilarious and so is the food judge who caused someone to suicude Amazing writing
Can you do this for Diana Burnwood's introductory words at the beginning of each Elusive Target? That would be great. I mean these: "Welcome to [CITY], 47. ... Good hunting, 47." Thanks for considering my request.
8:17 from what I can remember (I could be wrong), it’s hinted that the contract was started by both of these with the plan to have the other be killed for their own reason. Basically, the husband set the contract against his wife but he doesn’t know that she set a contract out for him, but at the same time, she doesn’t know that he did the same to her. At that point, just get a divorce, it’s just easier and less bloody (well, usually)
I love the Hitman intros.. they always get you hyped for the mission and really make you feel like an underground assassin 😂

iirc, the escort is actually related to the Contract owner.

GTA: Fricking Merryweather what are they doing here!?
Hitman: Fricking CICADA what are they doing here!?!
Payday: Fricking Murkywater what are they doing here?!!
Just say “fucking”
💀💀💀 I get all 3 References and I’m so happy about that
9:50 is my favourite intro. 😀
Hitman 1 will always have the best kind of "Mission Briefing" intro
"The clock is ticking, 47. Good luck."
I don’t know why you can’t watch these in the elusive target arcade
3:20 Space-Based Laser Prototype?
4:53 Bludgeoned Baby Seal with another Baby Seal?
Hitman can laugh at itself sometimes
17:53 anyone else notice that there was no reason listed to kill ji-hu
It's such nonsense that there's no version of Hitman 1 you can buy which allows you to play these levels.
It is available via Arcade mode in WOA, and it's replayable contracts

Welcome to Wendy's, 47.
10:50 - It’a funny to watch the inter vivos trust fund dwindling during the briefing.

So, Anthony L. Troutt and Richard J. Magee were 2 separate targets?
They were, but were later featured in a dual target event
