it would have been hilarious if wander built that first bridge out, and the castle would have slowly tilted, tipped over and crashed. imagine you have to manage the balance of this thing that youre constructing.
You have to manage it though. Tilt is pretty harsh if you Build out to far and has a huge negative impact on your ppl

The geometric patterns on the landscspe/map is such a cool design choice, this game looks very unique.
This reminds me a lot of frostpunk with how everything is built around a central hub and how you must keep that central hub running. Though this is much less gritty

@@arturcarreira8595 Grit also refers to the roughness of a material. For instance, sand is very gritty.
As long a you don't recruit someone named Booker DeWitt, your city should be safe.
If I was going to visit a fictional setting, I'd go for The Culture. Hyper-intelligent AIs run everything; humans chill out and do whatever they want.

The janky magic sky-propellors remind me of the Dread-Yacht from skylanders.

This reminds me of the Studio Ghibli movie, Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
I’ve only played it for 4 hours, just to learn the mechanics. I’m not easy to please, but this gives me a good feeling. Sort of like when I first saw Frostpunk
playing this myself and it a blast nice relaxing game to unwind too
If you're not a fan of grimdark sci-fi world, have you read Iain M. Banks' Culture series? It's a post-scarcity setting and, while it's not all roses, the average of citizen of the culture seems to lead a pretty fantastic life. Unfortunately, despite being an iconic sci-fi series, it feels like not many modern works have taken any cues from it.
Yeah, it's apparently much easier writing technofutures, so nobody thinks about where the society with it's dynamics will go... turning the memes and the mushrooms up to eleven! :D

I'm kind of sad to see this because it immediately reminded me of Flotsam, too. I don't think there have been any updates on that game, or any info from the developer, for almost a year now. I think... Time is ephemeral and diffuse at this point.
They update it regularly-ish, but it's a lot of small stuff. I tried going back recently, but it bugged out pretty badly, so I threw it back on the shelf for a while.
Maybe I should look at it again, but last time I looked at the game it felt... kind of abandoned? Like they didn't know where they wanted to take the game, so they left it as it was. I guess that it's kind of thematically appropriate to not really have any real progression other than building and surviving, but it feels unfinished rather than a purposeful design choice.

The thing is,the buildings don't look anywhere near the amount details in frostpunk,plus it looks like the is no artrestty for people in these kingdoms

Pokemon world would kinda suck at your age. You'd be subject to the whims of any 8 year old that has [name any one god pokemon] or just a random dog barking causing the world to cause a disaster not to mention random pokemon just doing whatever completely disrupting daily life. But hey. I admit the excitement is there lol it's just a matter of how much u can stay blissfully oblivious that u could be a millionaire one second and not even be able to afford anything and own a zigzagoon or trubish the next day

I like the idea of this game but hate that they have it powered by coal cause like how is coal somehow gonna produce enough power to lift a massive city
Just a thought, You should probably get more hangars because they come with 7 new planes each.
I'll never have the population to support more than one hanger unfortunately. Keeping the city running requires most of my people. :|
