Airborne Kingdom never showed what the people in their world looked like, so I'm extremely happy that Airborne Empire has chosen BIRD PEOPLE!!!!
because of you splatter, potato and few others I have around 250+ games in my steam lib. Damn you Wander now I need to add one more xD Was a cool game btw
I played Airborn Kingdom before and quite like it. Even the grind of scarcity (and savescumming multiple times). The new direction of anthro animals is interesting.
(if you don't know, previous game leans towards islamic arab/thousand nights style, also anthros are main staple of middle east fables)
Another thing unique to the series is patterning on the landscape. It's as if the entire map is made of fabric/carpet.
Bro, i used to always watch you when i was a kid. Glad you’re still kicking and gaming hard ❤
Its floatsam but flysam😂😂 looks very fun!
20:20 The moving around aspect is one of the many things that i really liked about IXION with the second major one being the Explorations showing the magical and mindfuckery nature of space and all that could happen/exist/reside in it. Coupled with me being a sucker for Space stuff it was the first game that got me to play one of these survival city Builders. I was always fascinated with the game FROSTPUNK since it first came out and i learned of it, but it always scared me away a bit with its complicated seeming nature of ressource menagement and need for long-term planning and thinking resulting in a several hour long save file going down the drain because one got caught in a negative spiral. Of coarse the dark and broody theme of the game did not help my angst but neither did the endless, unvorgiving, dark void of Space. Thus i only ever watched videos of it and nether tried my own hand.
But, sufice to say, with over 100 hours in IXION i am now much more willing to try other survival city builders of such a kind. Maybe I'll even try this very one, once it fully Releases. It certainly looks quite more Welcominng.
Airborne Kingdom was great but I was constantly tressed about falling out of the sky.
Is it me, or have there already been a game like this.
Airborne Kingdom, which is the first game in the series and is fairly similar apart from the combat & questlines.
