I've done so much research to know that ill stick to the car parks, but treat myself to an independent site once a week if I'm in need, but honestly there is so much choice other than paying for their overpriced squares. Creepy, i was struggling to find a location for our 8.65 m MOTORHOME ,near Bristol. Got bored with the chore and decided to watch YT instead, top of the algorithm was THIS VID - great work, we are real newbies, bought in June , done 2 shakedowns - 1 with and 1 without doggies. We have a couple , very useful. My wife is nervous about wild camping
Thanks for this. The most frustrating issue currently is trying to find day time parking. So many car parks seem to ban Campervans and motorhomes completely. We have even encountered a complete ban for these vehicles on the beach side road where cars only can park - Holland on sea in Essex is such an example. I feel it is discrimination but we don’t have a strong enough collective voice to challenge this approach by local authorities.

Yeah- parking by the coast or in tourist areas is definitely tough. Try using Search for sites or Park 4 night - they have daytime parking spots too.

In Europe, P4N is my preferred app. It’s brilliant. We do use it in the UK too but I prefer SfS as my first option.
