Same with celebrity's..think off the word celebrity someone you celebrate..so celebrity's should be people who do good things not just star in a T.V series which is basically just a very well paid job..I'd rather celebrate the old fisherman who goes out n gets fish for me too buy if we're gonna celebrate people foe there job...

`bsolutely whoever said this. The whole thing thing is about who has money. it won’t happen, but get rid of the whole lot of the super privileged systems, dukes, earls, barrons, sirs princes, and I know not a popular things but the monarchy. We all know the queen has done a great job, well after her, let’s get rid of all the chinless wonders and I know the argument that if you have a republic it will cost you just as much, I’ll go for that. At least you can vote them in or out. This lot, they just reproduce to make sure the line carries on. Incidentally, the line going back just as far as queen is either German or Russian. What a joke. I await the vitriol.

this has been coming up on my home page for a few weeks and I finally decided to watch it. I live on the east marsh and I was so worried it would depict us in such a hard light. but, it really shows the community feel. it may also show the unsavoury parts but as a very deprived area its to be expected. I was studying at uni and hoping to become a teacher so that I can help children that have come from an unprivileged background.

You have hit the nail on the head there about community and solidarity.
I genuinely believe that those who worship money (Ayn Rand style) like many in Government today just cannot get their heads round caring about other people.

I spent some time there & in cleethorpes a few years ago while having a mental breakdown. I met people who lived on the streets etc on drugs etc or just living on the bread line. One thing I learnt is there is good & bad in all. Those who hit rock bottom & know what it’s like are the ones who are often the people who have lived a hard life so when they see another struggling they feel there hardship & will try & help. This country should not have homeless or people going without basic needs it’s just wrong. I’m sure my time by the helped heal me & im very grateful to anyone who helped me while I was there & that includes the authority’s who had to deal with me. Sad times but good people.🙏🏻

If he was on the low dose of methadone he said he was he'd have MUCH more weight on him and colour in his face. I'd guess he's not using daily but still dabbling. Now I was overweight the whole time I used drugs and yet since I’ve been clean I’ve been on a healthy diet and have gotten into a routine of exercising. That lad was skating which is exercise which explains the weight loss! You are entitled to your opinion but not not to judge as everyone is different so stop talking nonsense.

Funnily enough I am an avid rollerskater myself. During the summer I do about 5-8 miles street skating daily and some on the ramps. I'm on a heavy dose of meths. I'm slim, but I don't have pitted cheeks and no colour in my face. He's doing well by getting himself active, and is moving in the right direction but there's no way he's not using at all.
And, you completely contradicted yourself. At the start of the comment you said "You can't say that"...and by the end of your comment you said "You are entitled your opinion" and then within a sentence you tell me not to voice my opinion. I'm lost am I entitled to voice my opinion or should I have someone dictate what I say because my opinion differs?
Look on any skating channels...try Moxi Skates for rollerskating or Ricardo Lino for blading and find me one skater with that build and pitted cheeks. Seriously, send me the link when you find one.

Yea and some of the challenges in this documentary are self inflicted no one forces the heroin in their veins don't have much sympathy for these people to be honest.. there are people that are born in places around the world that don't even have clean water or food to survive. The druggys in this documentary was born in a country where they had every opportunity to do well in life they just decided to fuck it up for themselves and now working people like myself have to help keep them

So many of these people are animal-lovers; you can tell a lot by that; they put others before themselves. "Cherish every moment you've got, while the people are still here. Thank god for grandparents. Family in poor communities all stick together and get through together. I lived with my grandparents growing up. The whole family gathered there daily all for meals. My nan feed us all. Some members ended up doing well for themselves and now act snobby and don't help anyone out. I'm glad I cut them off. They have small memories and forget the help they once got. But thats people for you. Even neighbours and communities change. I feel so sorry for these people. The rich are commuting so much worst crimes. Yet these poor souls getting nicked for trying to survive. Its all sickening. One day the poor will wake up and come for those hypocrites. The police are only there to protect the rich. Its also changed because of unlimited immigration poor people were already suffering and now things have gotten worst as there isn't enough to go round. Whats given to immigration has been taken away from poor communities which is wrong. It has made it so much worst. It should have been stopped years ago. The poor communities are the only ones been effected.

I’m currently visiting my native country of Sweden on vacation. I am flying back to the United States on Monday. I’ve been here for two months so it’s going to be nice to see my family back home. Unfortunately, in my parents have a great friend here in Sweden, who we will probably never see again. He has ALS and doesn’t have long to live. That is hard to believe and hard to take. His partner, a wonderful woman, lost one husband, and now she’s about to lose another one. That makes you think about life. In addition, my dad has Parkinson’s and my mom has MS and I am pretty much their only caretaker. We have had our ups and our downs, but it is my duty to take care of my parents because they are seniors, and they have taken care of me for 51 years. It is my sacred duty to take care of them.
