이 무대후에 오랫동안 무대를 떠나야했습니다 급성폐렴으로 마지막 무대가 될수있다고 병원에서 만류했었거든요 아이러니하게도 폐렴덕분에 중저음허스키가섞인 이 무대는 최고의 무대가 되었습니다 오랫동안 우리곁에서 건강한모습으로 남아주길 간절히 바래봅니다

옥타브를 뚫고 오르락 내리락 거의 스킬의 마스터를 느끼게 해 준 린온미를 보며 감탄도 했지만 확실히 이 무대를 볼 때처럼 눈물이 죽죽 나지는 않았던것 같네요. 소향은 확실히 그분의 신앙을 담아 부를 때 가장 빛나는 울림을 주시는 것 같긴 합니다. 고음은 여기서도 질러요. 근데 고음 여부를 떠나서 확실히 다른 무언가가 있어요.

아~ 일끝나고 술한잔 한뒤 인터넷 썸네일보고들어왔다가 6시간째 이러고 있네....하고 보니 나같은 사람들이 많긴 많구나. 이런거 누가 자꾸 만드냐? 캬~ 소향이 노래 원탑인건 나가수부터 느끼고 있었는데 정말 대단한 가수다. 가성과 두성을 밥먹듯 가지고 노네......왠만한 어렵다는 노래를 소향이 부르면 정말 쉽고 편하게도 부르는구나. 이정도면 무형문화재감인데.....소향의 목소리도 좋지만 그 뒤에 받쳐주는 타고난 음색! 천재적 감성! 한국가수들에서 쉽게 볼수 없는 퍼포먼스! 뭐 노력도 많이 하겠지만 말이다. 한국의 레전드로 불려도 손색이 없겠다. 근데 얼굴도 참 어려보이네. 내가 한살 더 많은데.....조금 욕심내보자면 영국의 젊은시절 셜리 배시나 미국의 욜란다 애덤스와 같은 급이라고 여겨지네요. 소향씨! 항상 응원합니다! 최고네요. 하지만 이제 잠좀 자야겠어요! 제발................

I am not normally one to Comment on videos, this artist however deserves a response. I have watched several her videos, she is absolutely amazing to me. I am not a vocal specialist, I am however well trained in music, so I am going to speak in regards to that. First off, she doesn't just sing s song, she puts on a production. The Arrangements for her performances are stunning. With her range, clarity, control and power, it is obvious that she is extremely gifted and well trained, and one of the best singers, period. Her Technic is pretty much flawless. My feelings regarding this matter are confirmed by numerous vocal coach reactions. Now lets talk about these epic performances.. She expresses her self with so much emotion, that she can bring grown men to tears... She also has a great feel for building and breaking down a song to help her create these emotional performances. This has much to do with the arrangements as well. She is truly a unique artist. For those who like to compare High notes to other artist, It is not really fair to any artist. Vocalist have different ranges and approaches to singing, however I would challenge and of the popular big voices to sing the sing these songs with these arrangements. There may be a hand full of artists in the world. But to sing them is one thing, to dream these productions up is quite another, and that is where ( in my humble opinion) she leaves everyone else in the dust. There just isn't anyone out there, doing what she is doing, with her skill set, period. She has one of the most beautiful musical minds, and that puts her a the top of my artist list.

I live in US and been to Beyonce and Whitney and other concerts, but so hyang is just on another level. sopranos and soloist have comparable and similar range, with so hyang we know she has the range but it's her clarity, transition, technique, emotion, interpretation, and consistency that are legendary. her head voice is second to none. she pulls off ridiculous legato in one of the other video, and some equally mind blowing crescendo in another. Whitney was a great singer but she's all power and range and little else, there's nothing new about her performance and after a while it gets boring. Whitney is a performance, so hyang is an experience
I feel the same way about dimash incredible range and power but not alot of emotion in his performances

At the time she sang that song, she had pneumonia. She developed pneumonia 3~4 times in a row.
So she became unable to sing because she had difficulty breathing. And she became hard to even make a voice, her voice got hoarse. She was in despair. SoHyang thought, "Should I stop singing?"

I think that this arrangement and performance of "You Raise Me Up" by So Hyang is an absolutely beautiful and perfect thing. On the rare occasions in life when we witness such an amazing thing, we are both overjoyed by the new and unexpected experience and sad to think of how few and far between they come, especially as we grow older. I liked your reaction because it was honest and heartful, even though you struggled to express it in words. Thanks for that gentlemen.
