    Little bit of an unusual take on a turtle. The dial is quite nice, the different indices work quite well too. Not sure why its on a leather though. Should really be on a bracelet or silicone. Least the lume is solid. Nice work with the review.

    At first glance I liked. Then at second look not so much. It’s a confusing mix to me. I am a huge fan of that “Willard-ish” case. Good stuff Rob, not sure if you changed your camera setup or what but this is some of your best camera work

      Thanks Patrick! And believe it or not, no - same camera and lighting. As for the watch, I had the exact same first impression - thought it was really nice, then the more I looked at it for the review, the more confused I got lol. Speaking of watches, do you have anything you'd like to send in for review these days? I know you had some cool pieces. Running dry over here lol

      @@ShouldITimeThis actually I do. I’ve been meaning to send you an email about some. Do you still review citizen? I know you had a bad experience with them.

    I appreciate your overview as you don't waste time and your terminology is balanced. You didn't mention a water rating so I will assume this watch wasn't designed to be a serious swim watch. On your other points, these atypical styling cues are subtle and hardly noticeable, so for me they aren't a detriment.

      Water resistance rating is in the info screen in the beginning that you skipped.

    Contrary to your thoughts, I like it, thanks for the video as you did highlight what I wanted to have a good look at.

    I just purchased the watch from the Bay. It has 20mm lugs. Using my current 20 mm straps with it. I did have an 18mm Milanese bracelet from an old Vostok Scuba Dude, definitely 20mm lug. Just a friendly FYI. Cheers.

      Mine has 20mm lugs, too-got mine a couple of years ago at a big box discount store for a reasonable (e.g.; cheap) price. It’s a decent automatic, love the display case, and switched out the strap asap, lol.

    Yeah dude, the strap is a pretty big let down. I usually swap it for a Nato or the rubber strap which was on it when I mailed it out. Luckily I have quite a few extra 18mm straps which I also use with my 18mm lug Vostoks.

    I ordered myself one in the UK, and I can say the bracelet is 20mm and not 18mm, but the main question is that mine comes with a miyota movement and not Seiko ... Not the end of the world for me but just wondered why even on their own website this is listed with movement NH35. What is the big bummer for me is the minute hand which is the colour navy blue on black dial and that puts me off. The website where I ordered it listed it as an orange hand on a black dial .... Overall It's a great watch and I paid 85£ brand new with free shipping, for this price point and the specs can't find anything else...very close to the price of Casio Duro

      Definitely an interesting watch, right? That dial can't make up its mind lol

      Many brands out there are designed to look weird... this one is not unusual at all despite a few minor styling cues.

      Yeah that's what I was trying to get across in this video lol. Too many different things all slapped together that just don't work together.

    Hi do u have any idea about Heriotor aura semi skeleton watch being any good?

    • @PETERJOHN101
      @PETERJOHN101 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What do you mean by "any good?" As far as I can tell, all models in this brand have a Seiko movement, which are perfectly reliable and accurate.
