A Hindu majority country with more temples than mosques has an autonomous Muslim body with absolutely no government interference in their activities and a separate set of personal laws for that body and the community that it represents.

Waqf or whatever board should be enquired properly. It's insane how a ceo of an organisation able to send letters to sub registrar office It's weird!. It's simple those lands belongs to that particular villagers only. It's government's duty to assure that. Due to this unnecessary confusion their land value probably go down. Govt should ensure that no boards has any authority of any of the lands in that village and It's has to be announced publicly and clearly so that villagers able to market their land if they wish to do so.

If you have a land in that village and somebody occupies it, Waqf will decide if it is legal or illegal. Indian Court cannot intervene. The process itself is 2 step and will get delayed to no avail.
