OMG.. Finally our people got enlightened!! I have been having this view for very long time but then even my own hindu ppl would have called me a racist.. Thanks Pandey for triggering Raja to vent out all hidden truths.. I am saying again, we hindus had very magnificent history, spectacular architect and culture in this mother land.. These Muslim Mughals & British Christian foreigners already destroyed most of them.. India is the most tolerant & secure nation which respects other religions giving them equal rights despite being a hindu land.. A movie should only be viewed on the context of the script. Nothing more than that. Of cos, if u watch the movie carefully, Vijay plays a role of Hindu and the consecration ceremony of a temple place in the scene before. And only after lost of some lives, he felt a Hospital is more important in that particular village than a temple. So what is wrong in that? Do u think a temple can save lives?
Now he also pointed out that Muslims or Christians wont be quiet if their religion is mocked and why should Hindus be so. I guess he didnt observe properly. I cant remember any one vijaykant action movie which failed to mock Islamic terrorist. Almost all had a scene. No issues raised by Muslim quarters.
In the movie MO, Christians preaching has been openly mocked. Again there were no Issues.
Now Raja is only making fuss for a simple statement which suggest building hospital is better than a temple. I would deem that unreasonable only if he said pub, bar or cinema. I think hospital should be given as preference as opposed to any religious home. Hence, Atlee was right and vijay's speech is correct.

Sanjay Alvin - Yes. We do troll our own idiot pastors. As a follower of Christ I agree with some of the things Raja said. Jesus preached ahimsa (turning the other cheek), heaven within you among other things. Unfortunately, the Catholic church is under the grip of Europeans. Have we ever criticized that? Most Christians in India side with the Muslims to undermine Hindus. They need to know what Muslims did to minorities in a country where they are the majority - see the persecution of Syrian christians yezidis etc. Take the case of Muslims in Sri Lanka who initially supported Tamils and then joined the Sri Lankan Muslim League. Christians in India should become more like Christians in the west. Brave, questioning and not blindly taking sides. Hinduism has been waaaay better to us Christians than Islam has.
