The feeling this song gives me is sickening. Words cannot describe the emotion it makes me feel with each listen. Every time this plays, I can feel a knot in my stomach.

When we begin to see inside his head, we see his internal conflict over being in love. He doesn't want to be in love; from the lyrics, we're shown that he sees love as irrational, hence calling it vapid and aimless. He says he wants closure. In the final line of that verse, he says he wants to take the bus back home, then he says "you'll wanna ride the bus alone" in the next verse's last line. Last year, my parents broke up. They were in a relationship for almost 13 years. The experience for me was really traumatic, seeing them fight and argue. Once my dad moved out of the apartment it broke me. I sat down on my bed, and listened to this song on repeat. To the point I started to cry. Everything is a lot better now, not perfect but better. Everytime I listen to this song I cry.

I had a seizure a while ago. It takes a while to get back with reality. This song kinda reminds me of that confused and empty feeling when you’re “back in control” with everything. It also kind of reminds me of watching everything around you fall apart, and everyone comes to you for help. You just hope it ends and keep longing for the happiness of back then. I think to sum it up: The feeling I get when listening to thins is sort of bittersweet, in a way that on one hand I get reminded of empty or dreadful feelings of bad events in my life, while on the other hand it reminds me of those tiny Carmel candies that seem to only appear in elderly care places or your grandmother’s house. This song, to me at least, sounds like falling out of love with everything around you. When you have so much love to give, so much positivity but the world just beats you down so much that it all becomes grey and fuzzy. And you see other people enjoying life and having fun, making memories and friends and falling in love romantically. And you just watch, in jealousy, wondering why Cupid forgot to give you that type of love too.
Jack Stauber's music are probably the best music pieces to listen to during my depressive episodes. Before summer vacation started and I've started feeling just that little more fine (Which I know is temporary, because I'm returning to the environment that caused me to spiral down in about a month) His music just hits different, It's like a lullaby listening to something that reflects your mental state and also is probably the best thing to listen to when you just need to let it all out. It's honestly hard to describe it in one comment, I just really appreciate this being in my Spotify playlist. I'm too scared to go to a therapist, maybe get meds. I stopped self harming when summer vacation started, but I am 100% sure that it's gonna get worse than it already is. I hope that at least this can bring me some comfort

Last year, my parents broke up. They were in a relationship for almost 13 years. The experience for me was really traumatic, seeing them fight and argue. This song, to me at least, sounds like falling out of love with everything around you. When you have so much love to give, so much positivity but the world just beats you down so much that it all becomes grey and fuzzy. And you see other people enjoying life and having fun, making memories and friends and falling in love romantically. And you just watch, in jealousy, wondering why Cupid forgot to give you that type of love too.

Jack Stauber's music are probably the best music pieces to listen to during my depressive episodes. Before summer vacation started and I've started feeling just that little more fine (Which I know is temporary, because I'm returning to the environment that caused me to spiral down in about a month) His music just hits different, It's like a lullaby listening to something that reflects your mental state and also is probably the best thing to listen to when you just need to let it all out. It's honestly hard to describe it in one comment, I just really appreciate this being in my Spotify playlist. I'm too scared to go to a therapist, maybe get meds. I stopped self harming when summer vacation started, but I am 100% sure that it's gonna get worse than it already is. I hope that at least this can bring me some comfort
