@@AvogelCoUk you are a great mom said that he will have to go in on the first of many reasons for the day so we will see you then if that doesn't sound too late I already did the first week back in a little late
So glad you are enjoying Eileen's videos. A good diet, simple changes to your lifestyle and some supportive supplements such as Sage for hot flushes and magnesium can make a big difference to your menopause.
can you give me portions such as 2 0z of nuts or 3 oz of nuts. I was doing a no flour no sugar diet and everything is weighed on a digital scale. So Portion control is important to me so I don't over eat.
Hi Melissa Unfortunately, we can't formulate individual diets, sorry. If you need to have everything measured, it would be best to seek the advice of a Nutritional Therapist. They can take your nutritional needs, weight and age into account and make a personalised plan for you. Best Wishes Eileen
Do you have healthy food recipes for menopause ? I would be appreciated if you could makes videos. I also had aoutic valve replacement surgery. I need to eat heart healthy foods. I am also in menopause. I love your videos.
Hi Melly We have lots of fabulous, healthy recipes on our food hub, which would also be suitable for the menopause. I may do some more food videos at some point. Great to hear that you love the videos, thank you! www.avogel.co.uk/food/
A. Vogel, given that menopause can lead to a dry mouth, how is one supposed to eat nuts, seeds and dried fruit or oatcakes and peanut butter? Also, have you ever tried to eat a dry boiled egg with a dry mouth? My understanding is that dairy also can dry ones mouth by thickening saliva.
Eating at night can give some people heartburn... and yoghurt also gives some people heartburn at any time of the day. Moreover, research shows that antioxidants in the cocoa powder won't be absorbed when eaten with dairy (of course, the mix may still be nice to eat) What to do if someone wakes up at 7am with tachycardia? Even eating late at night may not be enough.
Everytime i fell itchy on my face during perimenopause im 49 suffering itchy skin all over my body i keep watching your video its really help for me, thank a lot Godbless
Hi Claudia Great to hear you love the videos, thank you! I trend not to recommend soya milk as it is very processed (Google, how soya milk is made when you have time!). It can also upset the digestion in a lot of women causing bloating and wind. As it is made from whole soya the hormonal benefits are not particularly great. If you want the benefits of soya you need to go for fermented foods. I would suggest other milks such a oat milk or almonds milk; they are still processed but not as bad! Best Wishes Eileen
Hi Maureen The brown bottle is our Kelpamare Sauce and the cocoa is Green and Blacks organic cocoa powder which you can get in most supermarkets. www.avogel.co.uk/food/products/kelpamare/
Hi Karen, the most important thing is to have live yoghurt, and if it hasn’t had the fat stripped out then it will help you absorb your fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin D as well.
A.Vogel UK thank you for your reply. Just wondering: do almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds loose on their healthful benefits if you roast them in the oven as you mentioned, or in a pan as I sometimes do?
I've been binge-watching lots of these video's they are so helpful and informative ♥

Does anyone have a menopause smoothie recipe ?
Hi Deb
We have lots of smoothie recipes on our food hub, please do take a look. www.avogel.co.uk/food/recipes/smoothies/
Hello. I'm going to try these snacks. Where can I find the sauce in the brown bottle. What type of cocoa powder is that, can I find it on-line?
Hi Maureen
The brown bottle is our Kelpamare Sauce and the cocoa is Green and Blacks organic cocoa powder which you can get in most supermarkets. www.avogel.co.uk/food/products/kelpamare/
Dried fruits make me hungry... even when eaten together with other stuff...
How much procent fat is the yogurt? Here in Germany you can get it 9%, which I love.
Hi Karen, the most important thing is to have live yoghurt, and if it hasn’t had the fat stripped out then it will help you absorb your fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin D as well.
