McDonald's chicken nuggets in Japan was genuinely one of the most surprising things I ate when I visited. Wasn't expecting that much of a difference between the US version, but they tasted so much better idk why

McDonald’s and KFC in China was also better than the US. Some things are very standardized like as far as I could tell Big Macs were exactly the same. KFC had different menu items that were much better, like a chicken sandwich with pork floss. McDonald’s had surprisingly good fried chicken and I think some different dipping sauces I eat McDonald’s a few times a year and KFC even less but if they rotated through other countries items as a limited time thing I would go way more often.
