wow, these guys graciously played for a group of students and staff in my class at school just for the love of it. this is an amazing reflection of their playing and does a great job trying to capture their grace but they are big hearts...very big!
I can't believe that Jens will be one of my instructors on the Banjo Cruise I'm taking in two weeks. I'm so excited to finally meet this amazing musical genius of the banjo! As a beginner, I want to know his philosophy to learning to play the banjo. Wish me luck!
Why is it so good? These three convey musicality to it's ultimate The very best of melodies and harmonies displayed with great skill and enjoyment.I can't think of a more refreshing addition to next years "Proms" particularly with " Appalachian Concerto" My best ever birthday present (70th) in Prague) 2011.
It's amazing to watch them. So much focus is given to Jens. But you have to see them, live, to recognize that it's Uwe that is the master of the show and it's Joel that's the glue that keeps it together. They are an all integral and indispensable parts of an incredibly tight knit ensemble .
I love these guys. Jens Kruger is such an amazing banjo player and Uwe Kruger is equally amazing on the guitar! Joel Landsberg ties it all together on bass. They are some of the top musicians on the scene today. It's a wonder more people don't know about them.
Fantastic stuff, love the banjo solo in the middle.....awesome!!! I have now got to work on a few of those banjo licks, they are wonderful ...thank you Jens Kruger!
Best Kruger Bros. performance I have found. Watch this one FIRST! Brilliant stuff. Also, check out their version of dueling banjos and Jens playing Bach's cello suite no. 1
Technically the best in the business today.. When they slap a little soul into their music it is stunning beyond words.
Every time I look at the talent there is today in comparison to when I was much younger, I am just in awe!

Good luck on your cruise!! His playing is completely inspiring so having him as an instructor will change your playing forever......have fun!
I totally agree. The thing I've always loved about them is that they do have a little soul in there. It seems rare these days...
