    Forgot to mention that it looks very surreal, dark atmospheric and gothic. Yes, definitely this is one of my top 3 favorites if not my favourite.

    You're a real pleasure to both watch and listen too. Your approach is very straight forward yet totally unique to you. With so many showcasing their art online finding true innovation is somtimes difficult. Thank you.

    This intuitive art thing is so inspiring to me.
    Before I found your IG, I had been so confused with the whole zentangle, this and that. I found it hard to start and to do what I wanted so bad which was to create.
    Hearing your soothing voice while you talk yourself through your art blocks is super helpful for me!! I have so many similar thoughts.
    You're a fantastic teacher and I am so happy I stumbled across your IG . I look forward to your videos every time. Thank you.

      Wow thank you so much. You have absolutely made my day ❤. I really do try my best to explain the methods and to reduce the confusion. I feel that a lot of people have the potential and the desire to create, but other aspects of life don't help explore creation. Thank you for the kind words and support .

    Awesome, Betsi. I saw this and I will see the whole process later but thank you so much! I could not tell the earlier one you did was digital. Could I say that for this artwork a finer pen would create better and more intricate results?

    My brain kept telling me you were drawing a peacock forest. I've decided I like the surreality (my spell check hates the word) of the concept. Your drawing is passionate and exotic and I love it.

      Wow thank you 💕. Surreal and abstract forms are so dreamlike and can appeal to very interesting parts of the mind. I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I really enjoyed making it for sure.

    Ok, Betsi, I watched the whole video and I have to say the digital piece was very much more intricate and looks better. I think maybe there are more finer lines with narrower space in between and the larger lines are more curvy and with pencil shading that makes it a whole lot more with depth and darker. Whereas the piece you just drawn is more sketchy and less refine because it was done quicker and with less detail. Am I right?

    • @betsi_jae
      @betsi_jae  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes of course. When I draw digitally I have a tendency to spend dozens of hours on each piece. When drawing by hand, you can achieve the same level of "detail" by spending more time on those tiny lines and taking some time to add in shading.

      @@chenkeith7272 Here's another way to think of it: the hand-drawn section represents an area less than half of the digital rendered drawing. Its in a way "zoomed in" and appears to have less detail. When I make digital renderings, its easy to zoom in and create insane levels of detail that can be difficult to make by hand.

    • @chenkeith7272
      @chenkeith7272 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe hand drawn can have a lot of details but I guess your video is just to show us quickly how it was drawn and the process that went into it without the shading which really change the picture from a frog to a prince. The not so good thing about hand drawn is that it is hard to amend a mistake but if it is done on digital, mistakes can be amended.
