I was not aware of this fight,but I can tell you that he is in retirement mode for so many years now.
He was busy with charity and opening businesses in Morocco.

@@RS-kq9rr Yea that is true,but I just wanted to make it clear that it hasn't been several years that he hasn't fought.
He's not the youngest anymore and as he said in this podcast, he started MMA very late. It's even a miracle that he made it to the UFC, because normally you have to start at a very young age in this martial art to be really successful, but Abu started at the age of 24 and is now 38, so he's approaching 40 by then Add to that the inactivity fights so he also lost a lot of time.
What I want to say is, a lot of people here have a big mouth in the comments, but they're all keyboard heroes, nothing more, 99% of the MMA fighters in Germany don't even make it into the UFC, and Abu was at least in the UFC even if he wasn't very successful there, but he was fighting in the UFC who can say that from this keyboard heros? And he is successful in other things
but people just don't understand that.

Moroccans train like they fight.
I am a Moroccan who lives in North America,I train in MMA.
Anytime I go to Morocco, I join gyms there. They spare so hard you think you are in a fight comparing to the west where sparring is very controlled.
I believe,there will be a Moroccan UFC champion very soon. The new generation of fighters are killers.
@@RS-kq9rr Yea, I know, Moroccans are good at fighting, I didn't mean Moroccans either, i mean Germany there are now some good fighters, but as soon as they fight in the UFC they are unfortunately not very successful.
There are also many MMA fighters in Germany but unfortunately there are no really successful UFC fighters fom germany.
Abus Magomedov is also from Germany, even though he is originally from Dagestan, before he was in the UFC he was very successful and now he has lost his last two fights in the ufc.
And there are hardly any real Germans in the UFC anyway, that's why I said it would be easy for the keyboard heroes to write bad things about Abu, but 99% of them wouldn't even make it into the UFC.
