I think it’s mainly for security update. Just a minor update since iOS 17 will be gone soon. The big changes always comes in the next iOS. Wait for iOS 18

These “.1” are just minor updates are mostly security updates which is great + some minor improvements like fixing glitches, etc.

No offence but pride people can just download their desired niche unique special wallpapers meant for them despite embedded them in an update and shoved them to everyone and taking up everyone’s alteady scarced storage spaces 😂 we really are living in a nonsensical world
Yeah I mean I feel like if we all paid or are paying for these phones we deserve things a little more universal considering Apple isn’t doing much else. I’m to the point I wish they would cut down on updates because it’s just a needless roll of the dice every time.

I hate that they went back to the square album art in 7.5. It looked so much cleaner when they had the album art take up the whole lock screen.

Top 5 features? No one using these in their daily life though! But my battery life improved a lot after this update so that’s why I’m happy. In ios 17.4.1 I charged my phone twice a day.
these are not features.. just upgrades. Features are something which makes or adds something to make daily use more magical.
A feature is basically a change or aspect of something else. They are features. Nothing groundbreaking, but they are features
@@zollotech if the changes from past two updates are listed, it is nothing. Even Android has become the same. Before, even if it was a small update, there used to be visual changes and changes in feel and use. Now, it is namesake rounding the corners of icons and then undoing it and so on kind which is useless..
@@SRQK8 Phones have reached maturity and there isnt much more to do other than design. IOS 18 may change some of that.
@@zollotech I found a problem in 17.5, try offloading multiple apps and then settings stops responding.

That’s actually not an iOS 17.5 feature, but rather just something they pushed out to every update version
Sorry to say this, but I fear for iOS 18 when I have experienced all the 17’s betas for the last six months. Apple truly have no idea about anything anymore. Every iSheep is raving about how «awesome» the updates are; and how «I can’t wait to try out the new features»; and «we get updates by Apple all the time». For three years I’ve had an iPhone now: 13PM, 14PM, and 15PM. I will buy my secondary phone this week, because I really want to switch back again to either Android or HarmonyOS.

I must be an idiot because it took me years with iPhone to realize that timely updates are useless if they bring nothing but reduced performance to your expensive handset. I bought the 15 plus for its outstanding battery life. One forced update later and that was reduced instantly.
