    This is great, but it's not quite working for me. I need the 4 year avg by year. I'm looking to make a two bar chart: previous 4 yr avg, and current number by current year. I created these calculations, and now the averages created in the last calculation show up as 4 different bars with 4 different numbers, and do not respond to filters in the sheet. Thanks for any advice!

      Hey Renee, off the top of my head, I'm wondering if the current year values aren't changing because there is a FIXED level of detail function in the calculation. Have you tried adding the dimension filter to context? I'm also thinking that the 4 different bars might have to do with the date field on the worksheet.       ​@@onenumbertableau You were right! I haven't used FIXED calculations very much yet and didn't know how to incorporate them into a calculated field, adding the filters at the end so it works with all the filters we use. Talking with my coworker we were able to get it to work. Your youtube and corresponding article were super helpful! Thank you for the offer of help! It's really kind of you :D
