18:50 as a guy I would have loved this male victim inclusion into this too. Like you said a lot can be said politically without them spelling it out and it would’ve been a good opportunity without decentering the women.
There were some people on social media complaining about the movie and how they didn't do the trigger warning right. While I understand somewhat that they could have done it better, it's a little silly to me, and these big companies like MGM/Amazon shouldn't be the parents to protect them from movies like this.
I don’t believe in trigger warnings for movies AT ALL. If a movie makes you feel something.. fear, memories, happiness, nostalgia, terror, it’s doing something right. Maybe you need to go back to therapy and work on your recovery more before watching any movie at all. Not the filmmakers responsibility and it’s unfair to ask them to spoil their movie.
@@LizNeptune Amen. It's a shame that nowadays these studios/networks have to please the people who get offended by everything from the past or the present. It's fine to have an opinion about what happened back then but let's not censor everything. ❤
18:34 Actually, it’s revealed that Lucas (the one with blond hair) had his memory wiped like the women. It’s unclear if that’s because he was also a victim or if he simply didn’t agree with what was happening. Once he understands what’s been happening, he tries to help but Sarah sh00ts him, unaware that Lucas was actually an ally. Overall, I'm like the movie, and Zoë did a good job on jer first directorial debut, though.
Yeah I remember seeing something about him wearing the perfume too or something but it moved so quickly! The speech that Slater King gave to him tho about not helping, kind of sealed in that he wasn’t an ally for me tho.
I hatteeeeee at parties when guys keep asking you if you’re having a good time!! 😂😂 That has happened to me so many times!! Okay but this one sounds interesting! I will be checking this out when it comes to streaming!!
Eyebrows on fleek!! Almost couldn’t pay attention cause your eyebrows are so perfect
Omg thank you!! 😊

Yup!! So many men in the industry, especially male child stars were abused.

Have you seen My Dinner With Andre? Takes place in a restaurant. Maybe Waiting for Godot?
In terms of movies, according to Wiki, this is Naomi Ackie's first movie since 2022 with I Wanna Dance With Somebody as Whitney Houston. Interesting.

Same and it's nice to see her again.
