- What's Happening everyone? In this video I start into a new project, I'm converting my garden shed into a play room for my Daughter. In this part I build a stud partition wall insulate the shed and install OSB sheeting.

OSB is indeed cheap, but... not so safe for kids hands i think. They get splintering hands when they slide there hands over it ;)

Good effort with the work so far. I brought my tracksaw when I was ripping down OSB for panelling out a garage and workshop. Absolutely brilliant for that kind of work.

Hi John, was looking to build my own shed and didn’t want to lay a concrete base. Will I be able to use drive in post anchors and have the shed raised slightly off the ground, it’s going in a tight space in the garden and the ground is uneven. Ps built my raised planter and the missus got me to build a garden arch as well!!
You could dig post holes and fill the bottom with concrete so you have a solid base for your posts and build from there. Good to hear the planters got you more work lol.

Quick question re metre saws. What is the best diameter to get. I see some reasonable priced ones at 8 inch but is it big enough?
It really depends what you want to do, for most things 8 inch will be fine.
@@JohnMcGrathManInShed thanks John. Few benches and a couple of planters to be honest. Mostly just bits and pieces. Looking at the bosch as it seem to have better reviews than the dewalt

I have the 300e it's a good little bandsaw, Record makr good saws for the money. I would like a slightly bigger one though

This is great John, good to see you out of the shop ! Reminds me of my first shed shop in our tiny back garden. Loved it so much that I brought it with me when we moved and I got my proper shop. Good to have a reminder of where it all started and a bit humbling too.

Brilliant! This came just in time, me an my dad are just about to line an insulate his shed that's roughly the same size to turn into a wee work shop. Good video as always, nice to see someone else is tackling it in much the same way we are about too 👍
