This was the best violin solo i've ever heard and i'm not even listening to it live. I can feel so much emotion in this performance. I think i'm actually going to cry now that blessed my ears.
I'm 59 and just had my Grandfather's violin restored.....I've played piano 50 years...even studying with a concert artist for a short while...and this makes me wonder if I'll even live long enough to play at this level..but the true joy of it all will be striving to get there......😊
When I was a kid, Scheherazade was the only classical record my parents owned. So, thanks to the Baby Duck Effect, I was "imprinted" on it, and have listened to it hundreds of times in the last 60 years. You've done a superb job on some really difficult passages. Please let us know how the audition goes.
Angry! this ground is magnificent! but this beginning is surreal! this exotic and oriental atmosphere that the phrases create right at the beginning is beautiful! It's almost impossible not to be transported to a magical world...the color of the phrases design a very solid "melodic environment"!all listeners can feel something with this melody, "musicians" and "non-musicians", the passages in ricochet always reminds me of the end of Mendhelsson's cadence of 1st mov

Ich denke, es hätte bessere Saiten verdient als die, die es jetzt hat ☺ Ich weiß, dass jede Geige ihren eigenen, einzigartigen Klang hat; Ich liebe die tiefen, warmen Töne, mit denen Sie spielen, und würde gerne wissen, was Sie über Streicher denken. Die, die ich angezogen habe, waren ziemlich kalt und billig, weil ich sie ersetzen musste. Die, die der Laden eingebaut hat, waren schrecklich - aber ich hoffe, neue zu bekommen, die wärmer klingen. Ich weiß ziemlich viel über Noten, aber mit dem Buch lerne ich mehr Details darüber! Ich habe mir auch das Buch Schrimer's Library - Dont Twenty-Four Etudes and Caprices besorgt. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es einige Zeit dauern wird, bis ich Dont spielen kann, aber ich freue mich darauf, darauf hinzuarbeiten! ☺ Ich habe am ersten Buch gearbeitet und mir gefällt die Art und Weise, wie es geschrieben, erklärt und gezeigt wird, sehr gut.
