Due to their careers as idols and the fanbases they have, idols have to keep their personal lives very private. Ofc they date and have dated, it's normal, they are young men and women in the prime of their lives who deserve to be happy and in love. The moment we all understand (I include myself because I once was immature about this, within the first months of my k-pop journey, like 13 years ago) that idols are straight, gay, bi, etc; and that they date and have a s*xual life; and that they don't owe us accountability about it (their sexuality, their dating status, and such) that moment the knowledge of an idol dating will be as expected, none of our business. Because even if the day arrives where idols could date freely, they still don't owe us any explanation about it. There are hair and makeup those ppl really close face-to-face to them all the time. And the managers they know the details of the idols from day-to-day stuffs to working schedules. I think they do date, just not as many as normal ppl, and might choose form someone from the staff, it's also good if someone get caught in the public, ppl just put like will that is one of the staff, and can see each other more. I worked with lots of Asian celebs before, it's normal their non-celebs gf or bf are the staffs. They can travel with the idols and if any pic is out, the public just ignore it. Not all celebs will wanna date another celeb, some do date normal ppl but when it comes to marriage most of the female celebs wanna marry someone has $$$, the male will wanna someone younger.
