My dear, where is the history you were talking about? Who inaugurated the KCR and in which year? What was its complete route in the inaugural years? What were the engines and carriages like? Not to forget the number of overpasses built for road traffic at crossings with the KCR....In fact, these are very important landmarks in Karachi's history.
What you have recounted is merely the attempts to revive KCR and the usual hurdles encountered by the government. Please approach some elderly people of Karachi who had travelled in KCR in the early 60s and they will tell you what was it like. I lived in Malir from 1958 to 1969 and still remember the day when the Drigh Road overpass was inaugurated by Mohd Khan Junejo (the Railways Minister) in 1963.
You have just reproduced what has been stated in the Wikipedia......Now this is not an original research. Thank you. I am sure you can do a much better job!
