Mr. Hanif Gul Divisional Superintendent (DS), Pakistan Railways Karachi says that he has done efforts to make the station a good place with a good environment for the passengers, and even more projects are in loop that will be completed soon.

I live in a small town with just 1 lakh population in India. Even it has far far better railway station than Karachi. It caters more than 50 trains on daily basis. It’s clean, have better amenities like escalators let be the RO. Pakistan really need to work and invest on their Rail Infrastructure. It’s jut not up to the mark.

Railway hasn't been upgraded since independence due to our govts incompetence and corruption and now it is white elephant for Pakistan. Rather Pakistan should privatized their rail network to increase speed and revenue for pak railway. Main reason we are even not maintaining the railway line we have and

I knew paxtan is down bad but how bad was the actual question bro really felt proud when he said they have established RO water point.. Even that was outside of the station if I'm not wrong 🚶♂️ the difference 2 countries can have after 75 years of separation is immensely mind blowing to me imagine the state of Pakistan as karachi and 2-3 other cities are they are proud of so what will be the state of smaller towns and 2-3 tiers cities 🤣🤣🤣

Karachi ke hisab se Railway station bahut hi Chhota hai..trains bhi bahut hi kam hai..lack of fecilities..only five platforms..no suburban train services...tracks are in very poor condition.. missing electric trains..DS Karachi ko itna ilm nahi woh coach ko Bogie kah rahe hai aur ..road side stations ki tarah..foot over bridge dikhai de raha hai..no escalators no lifts..no retiring rooms.
No food plaza... Pakistan Rlys ko abhi..PR.
Ki taraaqi ke liye bahut kaam karni hai... Railways ki taraaqi hogi tabhi..Pakistan agey badhega..fraight..traffic ki taraf bhi dhyaan Dene ki zaroorat hai..🙏

That's Bcz of people travel more via roads and railway is not lucrative in public sector. If we transform to private or semi private that will improve the conditions
