Being a father inspired me to reconcile with our Father. I've been less active for 23 years and the Lord has now called me back, so we can raise our small children in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

People do not have to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be a honorable mothers or Fathers. Great work on passing good values on
Laurie, I saw your comment after the video and it caught my attention that you were not a member. Maybe you have been invited to learn before but I just want to share some truths with you and see if you are interested in learning more? It sounds like you were raised right and are seeking to raise your family right. There is a quote from Elder L. Tom Perry. It says "Family is the center of life and is the key to eternal happiness." God wants his children to come home, all of us. The gospel of Jesus Christ taught in his restored church teaches that family relationships can continue after this life. In order for this to happen we live God's teachings. He teaches us that we need to be bound together by his power in his house and live worthy of that binding. This happens in his house, his Temples. God wants this for all of his children. I just want to share that with you. If it rings true or you are interested in learning more I'd be happy to help you get in contact with some young disciples of Christ that are currently dedicating their life to share his gospel with others like you. Hopefully this message isn't too random for you haha. I had just watched the video and saw your comment underneath and thought I'd share.
I am not Mormon. I have known quite a few, and every one of them has been good and decent people. I have tried hard to instill the morals and values my folks taught me. I have 5 kids,4 daughters, and the youngest is my son. The other day I was sitting in the office of my vocational rehab specialist when my second oldest (20) called. I had to put her on speaker phone As she talked she told me how they knew right from wrong. How to act. To be friendly, truthful, help others, and in general be good and decent people. She went on to say that she now understood why I was tough on them and never waivering in my rules, procedures and discipline. The tears ran down my face as she told me she loved me and thanked me for being a good dad. I looked around and everyone in earshot was looking at me and listening to Liberty on the phone. Many were tearing up as well. I felt so proud, and so humbled at the same time. She said so many things that 20 yr. olds dont say to fathers. HAPPY FATHERS DAY
This touches my heart deeply. It makes me feel more fulfilled as a mother and hopefully, some day again, as a wife. This is what life is all about. Husband and wife, Fathers and mothers, building together, all of us together, generation upon generation, for time and all eternity.

I can't help but have tears each time I watch this as I think about just how involved our Heavenly Father is in our lives, and how much we are not even aware of it, and how He expects us, as fathers, to be with His other precious children that He has given us Earthly care over. This video is one of my all-time favorites.
I have been a stay at home mother for over 30 years, my husband works so hard for us, I know as our children have grown we have not done it alone ,But with the help of our Heavenly father. I am older and as I look back I do not have to look far to see so many blessings that Heavenly father has given me
This video gets my heart pounding so much. I'm a laid-off dad of 2. I ache to be that provider once again. At the same time, it's really gotten me thinking about the true Provider. What has he done in our lives that we don't know about? Makes me more grateful.
I was moved! My Earthly Father is definitely the greatest example of what our Heavenly Father must be like. He has sacrificed everything for us his kids, taught us how to love, work and respect our Mother and Sisters. All of this accomplished, while defending and fighting for our freedoms. I am eternally grateful for Fathers and Mothers.
This is such a powerful message to all men. If every man could know, and understand, the important role of father in the lives of children, and not allow the world to diminish or undervalue, literally, this birthright of every child -- how wonderful would that be to see them step up and take their place as husbands, providers and dads. Men, we need you!
Beautifully put and filmed. I liked it. I am a christian and my heavenly Father is all to me. I shall live with Him soon, how the world at large is missing out om our Heavenly Father. Pray that each one will meet Jesus and give their lives over to the way He has thought us to live through Him to the Father.
What a beautiful presentation of real fatherhood. We are so blessed to know the reason for our creation.!! our purpose in life--to become like our Father and mother in Heaven!
I come from a broken family, parents separated and my father abusive. I grew up thinking I was nothing. That was, until I learned about the church. At the age of 17 I was baptized . Now, only a year later, I am happy and can't wait for one day to get married in the Temple and to have a husband who loves our kids dearly. This church is true, that I strongly believe in. I know now that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me. Without this church I might be lost, but I am not. Amen
I can't think of a single question in religion that doesn't tie back to God being our Father, and loving us as his children. Being a relatively new dad of a 7-month-old girl, I can start to compare with the love and sometimes worry God can have for us. I hope we can all make it back home to Him someday.
Come on guys - let's all STAND UP and be Men - that is true definition of 'hero'. This video is so inspiring to me as a father. Every time I watch it I want to be a better father AND husband
For all those who don't have the perfect home life (myself being among them) we can always remember that God is our father, and he will provide for us when none other will. He will take care of us, if we let him. And then we'll be fathers and mothers ourselves and we'll have the responsibility and opportunity to be the provider, and give our kids what we never had.
I have struggled with feelings of regret for not being able to spend much time with my kids while they grew up. I was trying desperately to get my business off the ground and provide. I wanted to spend more time with my kids, but could not. I guess that was my job, my role. This video helps resolve those feelings so I can get past this and move on. Thank you.
This is a wonderful message. The gospel of Jesus Christ empowers us to have lasting happiness here on earth and after this life. Enables us to better overcome life's challenges and serve others. This is perfectly outlined in The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
This all makes me think how grateful I am to belong to a church that helps the down trodden, lifts the weary, clothes the naked, feeds the hungry, and spreads peace and love throughout the world and has the means to do it. I need to always be positive and have faith and do my part so that our Heavenly Father can bless others through me.

I think in this case, the questioning is more synonymous with doubting than curiosity. The children do not doubt that they will be provided for. They do not worry about having food or a bed to sleep in. Almost to the point of taking it for granted. Just like us and this amazing world we've been given.
Im so Grateful for This message!!! I love my Father here on Earth, I love my Heavenly Father !!! Im trying to be LIKE THEM as a Father to my daughter!!!
What a simple an powerful message and reminder who I am and how grateful I am for being a Father. the true I am so far from what our HF model is, however I am so proud of being choose to be a Father.
This IS my favorite Mormon Message of a long list of great ones!!!. How is it you produce something that touches me so deeply without being pandering. This exceptional - really is. The 'story' told through narration, visuals, and the music - just really powerful. Thank you for your talents that bless the lives of so many. The one makes me want to be the best father possible.
That's what I like about it, is those of us that don't have earthly fathers still have a Heavenly Father that loves and cares SO much for us. I am really sorry that you didn't have a father in your life, but I KNOW that Heavenly Father loves you SOO much!
This video is peace to my soul. I have watched it many times. I never had a good example growing up. This was one of the examples that showed me a better way.

This is one of the best videos the Church has ever made. It´s so inspiring, so true. It makes us desire to be a better father, a better husband, a better person, it makes me value everything my dad has made for me, and it helps me understand the role that Heavenly Father has in my life.
I saw this video in Institute class at UWSP, and though I am not a father yet, I hope to aspire to be as good as the one depicted in this video: Providing for a family, caring for children, and being loyal to one's wife.
I loved this.. it brought a tear to my eye.. Fathers play an important role in the divine plan of our Father in Heaven. How wonderful it is for children to have that security.
I have learned much about our Heavenly Parents after being a mother. This was a great video. Very moving. I hope to see one like this about motherhood as well.
What a wonderful video. And you dont have to be a Mormon to feel this and believe this. Im not and I do. It pulls at my heart it touches my soul, I cry, I smile. I live & I love. Thank You God, Thank You Father for giving me what I have and always being here with me and mine. :)
May we all as men remember what it is that makes us men of God and lead by example focus on that which matters most let not problems to solve today overtake that which is in front of us remember the blessings we seek that are sent to us by heavenly father are in the here and now and every single precious moment in the name of jesus christ.amen
My favorite part is "they lie in the comfort we provide, all while I work. I'm far but close, always thinking of them.... I do it all for them. I work that they may grow." I just love the fact that the God I love and worship is also my Father, and that I have a personal connection to Him. I know that all that He does is for the benefit of all of us here on earth. Even though I can't see Him, and I'm not always aware of what He's doing, I know that He sees me and is watching over me.
as a single father with 3 living at homw with me. i know how much my father in heaven loves me and those that are arround me. for i have being blessed and thouhg life is not easy i know without a thouhg in my heart that at the end life will be worth it., as long as i continue to do what he espect of me. and beyond this remporal life i know he will provide for me and for my children. to be able to enter back to his precense. for that and for it all, i thank thee father.
This video is amazing. I know my Heavenly Father truly does watch over me constantly. I am His child. I know that the love He has for each and everyone of us as His children is beyond our comprehension. I will put all my trust and faith in my Heavenly Father.
I love this video. I love my dad & my husband & all the men out there who are true men. Unafraid to provide, teach, love & be loved. Also i have to give a shout out to the composer for this piece- Robert Allen Elliott, a good friend of mine & a gifted musician. Well done Rob!
As a son of a loving earthly father I had some comprehension of my Father in Heaven's love. Now that I'm a father of thee sons I comprehend it even more. This video grants further comprehension. I love it!!
I loved this! My family enjoys a loving husband and father - we may not look just like this adorable family, but we feel the same things and it's wonderful to see them represented here. I so look forward to the message about mothers and our loving heavenly parents! Thank you!
I love the part at 2:33 where the child peeks into his parents' room and catches them praying together. I feel blessed that I was able to see my own parents engaging in acts of faith like that. The example of my parents really helped to mold me into who I am. I am also grateful for a Heavenly Father whose blessings I might not always be aware of but whose love for me is infinite.
Truly inspiring video. Never have I been more impacted by a message delivered online than I have by this video today. I have a little boy less than a year old and am just now realizing what it means to be a Father and how much love can be felt for your own family.
As our Earthly Father provides for our temporal needs, cares and think about us, our earthly father who is our protector, friend and faithful husband to my mum is highly subjected to our Heavenly Father who cares more for us all, think and cares for us all and Our Heavenly Father is more happier when we return to him.
I’m Mormon, but my family was never like this. My father is a deadbeat dad while my mother was a strong example. I made a pact with myself to give my children a better life than the one I had. Anyway, I seeked a man not a boy. I have a amazing man that provides for us, faithful, loyal, honest and funny. He worships me and loves our baby. My mother says “you chose a good man”. She wishes she would have done the same.
Tones Bones- we very much believe they have a Father that loves them very much. I didn't have a earthly father, but I know I have one in heaven. God bless.
children are innocent and trusting of their parents by nature because they know their parents love them. learning to trust in our heavenly parents brings tremendous guidance and blessings and allows you to feel their love for you.
Thomas Foley same! I LOVE JESUS AND THE RESTORED GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!! I LOVE THAT HE DIED FOR YOU AND ME AND EVERYONE. INCLUDEING PEOPLE WHOM ARE NASTY AND MEAN. JESUS DIED FOR THEM TOO!! HE DIED SO ALL OF US COULD BE TOGETHER FOREVER!
I have watched this over and over with gratitude for my husband and my own father who work tirelessly for their families. What good men these fathers are. They do it all quietly, with love, for us.
Yes!!! Resonates so deeply - it is true... One day we will "see as we are seen, and know as we are known" as we hearken to His Spirit while we toil in this tutoring but temporary world.
As a father, I enjoy this. Helps put lots of things in perspective. I hope to see one for mothers as my wife works at least as hard, if not harder, than me both inside and out of the home.
What a beautiful example what an earthly father should be. Thankful that we have a loving Heavenly Father who also loves us. Just as our earthly father does.
I believe the questioning that the father is referring to is how there's a bigger world and things in motion all around but most children don't have a sense for that like a parent does (yet). They certainly have a curiosity and desire explore and test boundaries--and there will certainly be plenty of time to learn about life and the way things really are. But until then, 'our home is their world.' For the child, she trusts life to simply continue and doesn't worry about how it all came to be.
My children were not blessed to have an earthly father such as this. He believed they owed him, every inch of the way. No tenderness nor counsel, no play nor guidance. Only threats, violence, insults, fear and shame. I will send this to him and pray he is able some day to ask for their forgiveness. Divorce can be a blessing when all else has failed. They are all good, wise men, kind and tender; faithful & loving & honor their Heavenly Father. They chose, from that example, all they did not want.
My father left this world when I was only ten. But during that time he showed me the greatest love I could find. The love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I miss him, but I know he still watches over me. :)
The first two words of the Lord's Prayer says it all. Two words that define our relationship with God, God's relationship with his Son, and His Son's relationship with us, "Our Father..."
I feel like I can relate with this video. My family mean so much to me. I go to work each day to provide for their needs. I look forward to seeing my wife and child at the end of the day. I am grateful to the great God of Heaven for providing me with the opportunity to experience the joy's and blessings of being a Father.
This hit home to me on such a personal level. My children and wife are my world, my Father in Heaven is my mentor. Not a day goes by as I provide for my family be it traveling far away or working from a home office that I don't think of for whom I do these things! We live in a world that excuses father from the family, when a new child is born all the hospital forms reflect this with a Father (optional) box. Well look out your window to see what Father (Optional) has produced in society.
"I now stand very aware of how it all came to be" :) Behind the riddle of the universe stands a family. We are that family.
...both here and in the previous life and then in the after life. It is the wonder of it all.
So beautifully said.

Very humbling and inspiring. Fatherhood is indeed a divine heritage
That was truly beautiful. I love the reminders of how important fathers are to their children, and that when the job is done right, they don't notice.
A faithful Father is a Faithful Husband!
AMAZING text/scenes/music !
Blessed be the makers of it
and Blessed be the LDS Church !
How's it turning out?
One of my favorites--beautiful illustration of God's love for us as our father.
I watch this video every Father's day and love it more and more every year. Thank you for this content.
What a wonderful video. And you dont have to be a Mormon to feel this and believe this. Im not and I do. It pulls at my heart it touches my soul, I cry, I smile. I live & I love. Thank You God, Thank You Father for giving me what I have and always being here with me and mine. :)
The greatest blessing in my life has been to be a father.
Very touching for someone who has been a father and is now a grandfather.
It is a great blessing to know I can trust Him. He will not ever lead me astray. I love, Thee Father.
I work every day to be the kind of father my kids deserve to have--and this video strikes close to home.
I love it!!
This is truly inspirational..... as a young man it will be something I will strive to be.
I love to be a Mormon :-) A family guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ is the best, is the most secure refuge against the bad things of the world.
Thanks you lord for everything GLORY TO GOD OUR FATHER✝️🙏😌
Tones Bones- we very much believe they have a Father that loves them very much. I didn't have a earthly father, but I know I have one in heaven. God bless.
Those videos make me feel the strenght of be in the future ...a good father as my heavenly father
children are innocent and trusting of their parents by nature because they know their parents love them. learning to trust in our heavenly parents brings tremendous guidance and blessings and allows you to feel their love for you.
Wow. I'm watching this for the 4th time with my little girl. Makes me cry tears of thankfulness and joy.
I LOVE CHRIST AND THE GOSPEL!!
A beautiful message. I enjoyed the video and was brought to tears.
Even in an imperfect world, there is a God, our Heavenly Father. And he does provide, even when we are unaware. There is still hope. Trust.
I love these they make me cry.. i don't know why but in like a good way i think..
Even though your not a Mormon it is good to hear that people that aren't Mormon still like the Mormon messeges. :)
Probably the most beautiful message I've ever seen, with a message for everyone. There is no love like our heavenly Father's love. God bless you all
Thank you :D I love it when non-Mormon's can watch these without being negative.
My father left this world when I was only ten. But during that time he showed me the greatest love I could find. The love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I miss him, but I know he still watches over me. :)
SO touching and compelling... The spirit of this message is so strong, its like I was watching from my heart
