I think it would be better if you both sat next to each other. Its a bit awkward for the guest to have to turn back and forth to look at each of you, especially with the microphone set up on one side of them.
I played with Jeremy back in Tampa. I remember busting him, then seeing him at the final table with me and he finished higher Also had him hop into a lower stakes limit O8 cash game with us and he seemed to really enjoy it

But if I had claimed I was not superstitious then I should avoid obviously superstitious stuff like have a favorite hand, even after winning a tournament is superstitious. Having lucky sunglasses is superstitious. To be clear, there is nothing wrong with either thing. People are allowed to be superstitious. It's a bit much to say you are not superstitious tho.
