Another interesting technical foray. Never a dull moment here. Fascinating to hear how folk perceive modal nuances. PS 37:59. No need to apologise, Vince. It always amuses me when jazz improvisation drifts into the 'twilight zone' with an occasional wrongun and they repeat it just to let you know that it was accidently on purpose :). PPS - By the way, you might like Bell & Bone VST (trumpet) by Libre Wave, assuming you don't already know about/have it. It's a freebie. Really versatile and great for Jazz inspired ideas.
Hey Martin! Attentive viewing as always. Yes exactly, just repeat you're mistakes and you're all good 😂Thanks for the heads up, looks like a great little freebie.
Nothing special, but I do make use of the 'decay' filter - here's a screenshot www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/5pos8gz7atsklmylbwrwh/Screenshot-2024-08-19-at-17.20.50.png?rlkey=ispbsxo4dwvwed8mjalli93te&dl=0
@@vincecomposer Thank you! I have mine curved upwards because, and the sensor max at 60% because I find it hard to reach the higher values otherwise. And yeah, I should look into decay too.
Amazing! Please do more of these kind of videos. This is very inspiring for a beginner. You have a talent for education.
Absolutely amazing. I really like this approach of composing orchestral music. Thank you
Great to hear, happy composing 👍

Thank you - that helped unstick my brain on moving between different types of minor scales.
Good to hear it made sense to you! All the best.
Excellent! Thank you!
You're very welcome :)
I really loved this, thank you very much! Very inspiring ✌
Glad to hear that, cheers for watching!
I love you content, thanks for creating it
lovely to hear, thanks for watching!
Love the flute, what plugin is that? and what is that you use in your mouth while playing the flute.
Acoustic Samples VWinds Flute and Tec Control Breath and Bite 2!
Vince, I love the way you articulate stuff. BTW your video is reversed.. left hand shows on the right side. Enjoying your video a lot!!
Indeed. The Moog has moved mysteriously to the opposite side of the studio and 'The parting on the left is now a parting on the right....' :).
Yep well spotted. Was a creative choice, but glad to see you're paying attention ;) Hope it doesn't throw you off too much!
Hey Vince, I have the same breath controller as you, but I can't get it to sound as smooth. May I ask how have you setup your curves?

Vince, I thought melodic minor has a descending same as natural minor.
Yes that’s how it’s sometimes taught! Personally I find it more useful to think of them as separate tonalities.
