The cool Picture in Picture near the beginning was a good thing to add, should of had a mug of coffee in one hand :) btw I saw during prep there was a missing solder ball on the frame thing, did it matter? another quality video my man 😊
Thermal Cameras are a godsend when dealing with older capacitors and fuses~ personally i just use flux on the board and just turn it on see what melted first and check the operating temps of those pieces~! good job as always~!
I probably would have pulled the tualatin and just put it on another board. That cpu is worth at least twice as much as a stock 1.0/1.1 motherboard. I get it though, sometimes you just really want to fix something.
I couldn’t tell what controller you were using with the jafar chip but that os won’t respond to some 3rd party controllers. I would try an original controller and run the ram test on xblast before swapping any out
Wow, I'm impressed with the level of effort. We're with you if you keep trying!
Looking forward to the next episode on this :)
Please dont give up on this xbox, you can save it, KING.
I want this console to work! Keep up the good work dude!
How patience level is God tier.
You got this man keep that chin up

3:26 isn’t it missing one solder ball?
I seen that as well but there was no pad to attach it to.

I agree. There aren't too many more things to try before I have to call it quits for this console.

It's an original MS controller. I installed the incorrect MCPX, that's why controllers don't work.
Have you tried a chip with cerbios and see if that boots. Modxo chip is cheap to make.
I shall consider trying this next.
Where can you get a replacement MCPX? Only from a donor board?
They're available in China new and used.
What BGA Rework station are you using

@ thank you!
maybe the tsop chip is bad
