I still appreciate the game to this day, It was the first Game boy Advance game I ever owned and it came bundled with my console. It has a few metroidvania, collectathon and open world elements. Some very simplistic element, but its pretty enjoyable as a whole.
Hell yes, new video! Looking forward to PoA on GBA. I really really love this content, dude. Not only are you covering something that everyone else ignores, you’re doing a great job at it too. Been following these handheld HP videos since the beginning. Keep it up, can’t wait for the rest.
All the games from the first three books are my all time favorite video games, I’m happy someone is willing to talk about them. I’m subscribing, even though your reviews are not the nicest to these games xD
A surprisingly deep dive into a game series I only knew from PoA GBA. Some people just don't know what makes video games tick, but you actually seem to have a good idea, nice to see.
Came across your channel from the Telegraph article. Good presentation, good content, all the best in your youtube career. It takes time, do what you like and it will come.
Just discovered this channel and.....wow , people had to wait a long time for these HP videos 😂💪🏻. Well , I’m joining the #WaitingSquad. Keep up the good work! :)
Really looking forward to the next Harry Potter gba game, it's the only handheld Harry Potter game I haven't played. Also, just stumbled upon your channel, maybe one day I can brag about being a 1k sub fan
The Stealth function in these Harry Potter games were the stuff of nightmares. I lost so many points trying to get past those prefects. And why are they still around even if it's during the daytime?
Awesome review series brother! This ended up being the final watch for me, the conclusion being the 3rd one I caught. A happy rabbit hole I've fallen into here, very nostalgic, well done sir, subbed, and thank you!!
HELLO !! I dont know how to get the last wizard card... WHO IS THE LAST WIZARD CARD ?? down right next to romena ravenclaw ... were is it ?? please help !!!
I really enjoyed this review. I remember I was playing this GBA game a lot roughly 17 years ago, completing it 100% over and over. I agree with the camera problems, but back then, I did not look at it as a problem because I was accepting it as a challenge. I believed the intentions of the camera programming were to allow the player to be motivated in thinking ahead during all stealth sections. Whenever I chose to be observant and patient, I passed those sections easily. Overall that game was one of my all time favorites on the GBA.
Become Leeroy Jenkins and you're asking for it; I think that's somehow a difficult lesson for some. Even when you come across the first stealth section (in the Magical Menagerie), the game tells you to sneak so you can see further ahead. …The camera isn't bad at all if you happen to lack cocaine in your system.
The soundtrack is not only the same between GBC and GBA but its actualy the same in the PC version as well, although wit hthe exception of the Hogwarts theme, most themes in the PC version tend to blend a little more subtly with the gameplay and background sounds to not break your immersion.
Actually, in every Chamber of Secrets game, they changed it so that Harry and Ron miss the Hogwarts Express, even in games that Dobby actually appears in.
It's too bad these 2 GBA games weren't RPGs. At least we have Prisoner of Azkaban. _ _ There is an amount of GBA games that use the original Game Boy sound chip. You see, the only supplementary audio hardware the Advance has over the Game Boy is just 2 direct audio channels. All sound on those 2 channels must be mixed completely in software before it is output. These audio routines usually take up a good sum of CPU power, which you'll need to calculate everything in the gameplay. In contrast, using the original Game Boy sound channels hardly takes up any CPU power at all. Not to mention that most GBA sound engines output in such a low sample rate (low quality), whereas the Game Boy channels are naturally high quality, though they have a much different type of sound. There's even games where the 2 GBA direct audio channels do not have software mixing at all. In those games, each direct audio channel is used independently as a PCM channel, mixed in a high quality way. Of course, since those are only 2 channels, the Game Boy channels are used extensively, often forming the backbone of the music. Also, Eurocom developed the GBA version of this game, not Gryptonite. Yeah, the music recycling makes even less sense. 1:23 Fun fact: On GBA, mode 7 effects are actually done through either video mode 1 or 2, so it's really 'mode 1' or 'mode 2'.
Man would really love a review of the first 3 PC games (After thats its all garbage). Especially the 2nd one COS my childhood HP game with HP2 on GBC.Love the vids Keep it up!
Gotta do the PC ones. And the Dumbledore video. Harry Potter everything, for life, thank you. :) Much like with Nintendo and Mario, never let the creator of a beloved franchise spoil the fun. (I wouldn't be as butthurt if I didn't MISS getting 3D Allstars..grr)
Congrats on 1000 subs! Happy to look out for a fellow Potterhead!

You can quick change the spells and potions by holding select and pressing R or L 😊 so you don't need to access the menu to change spells

I have always loved this game as a kid, the ost is so comforting
11:49 Oh right... I keep forgetting this is a small channel :O
Yea right? The quality could be from a million subscribers channel
I’m loving these reviews. Hope you get to make reviews of the other games on different platforms.

Waiting for PC series review now!!
I don't know why, but calling Mr Filch bitter squib sounded hilarious.
Great review.
11:10 How many takes it'd take to get to that effect?
I Really enjoyed your review on one of my favorite games from my childhood
Found this video by random but I love it. Your humor is hilarious.

I played this game so many years ago. I should try it again.
Can you review quidditch World Cup?
2:43 since you asked, it's not Angila. It's Anglia, as in the old timey name for England.
The soundtrack is not only the same between GBC and GBA but its actualy the same in the PC version as well, although wit hthe exception of the Hogwarts theme, most themes in the PC version tend to blend a little more subtly with the gameplay and background sounds to not break your immersion.
My question always was. Why did they just use the floo powder to go to the burrow when they could have just used it to go directly to Hogwarts?
2:39
My dude. It's Anglia. A-N-G-L-I-A. Not "Angila".
The Anglia was a small family car produced by the UK division of Ford between 1939 and 1967.
"Pretty excited to find out about it".
So excited in fact that you haven't opened in over a year lul
This was LITERALLY my first gba game! Also those were Gnomes not Imps
tfw you knock over the sorcerer's stone
Holy hell your subscriber count to quality ratio is seriously out of whack.
Great video, and I agree CoS on GBC is much better than CoS on GBA.
It’s been 4 months. UPLOAD VIDEOS NOWWW RRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Actually, in every Chamber of Secrets game, they changed it so that Harry and Ron miss the Hogwarts Express, even in games that Dobby actually appears in.
Please make all the series GBA PC PS1 PS2 DS Gamecube

Hello can you review Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? TY!
Man would really love a review of the first 3 PC games (After thats its all garbage). Especially the 2nd one COS my childhood HP game with HP2 on GBC.Love the vids Keep it up!

I spent a solid 40% of my time running into walls waiting for the camera to catch up when I played this game.
I thought this game was made by Eurocom, not Griptonite games
the FUCKING quidditch sections, especially if you're trying to get the wizard cards
Oh hell yeah
As per PC game it is pronounced as ang-li-ya
Ann-glee-a.
The hype is over!
This guy is either 14 or 40
he should have just used the invisibility cloak
It was a piece of SHIT compared to the GBC one, just like with Sorcerer's stone loo
