DRC Conflict | Remains of SA soldiers return home

South African Defence and Military Veterans Minister, Thandi Modise, says soldiers deployed to the eastern DRC, are well equipped. Modise, together with army top brass have received the mortal remains of the two soldiers who were killed in the Congo, Captain Simon Mkhulu Bobe and Lance Corporal Irven Thabang Semono. Their bereaved family members also attended the procession at the Airforce Base Waterkloof. SANDF troops are part of the SADC mission.
