    I had an interesting one with the 1921 code recently, I don't know if this feature is only available on commercial/heavy duty trucks but after going through all the troubleshooting steps on quickserve. I noticed that in the data monitor it stated that the brake pedal was depressed versus released causing the Regen not to initiate. I found a chaffing wire to ground at U24 going to the ECM. Which was causing the depressed brake pedal.

      Nice find! All vehicles, from light to heavy duty, will abort a regen when you hit the brake pedal.

    I have the 1922 code 2015 international 4300 box truck and the red warning ⚠️ was on and the beeping noise with stop engine on the dashboard

      What's the soot load indicated on the scanner? What's the DPF backpressure at full throttle in Neutral? Have you tried commanding a regen with your scanner?

      @@joediagnostics I’m just a driver I called loves mobile mechanic and that’s the code came up always 4612 engine intake manifold pressure system both are active. It’s saying something about dpf regen needed on the diagnostic test

      @@joediagnostics 1922 is after treatment diesel particulate filter differential pressure. First time experiencing this so have no idea

      @@joediagnostics the report said the soot level is high, dpf derate is high, pdf back pressure I don’t see that on the report parameters

    is this the pro link ultra starter kit. the reason is i'm interested in a tool that will do the dpf resets and regen. thanks good video

      The starter kit only has HD Standard coverage. That doesn't include any bi-directional controls until you add some software packages. Shown in this video is the Cummins software, so to do this test you'd have to have a starter kit with Cummins software added.

    What was the cause of dog soot loading?? I have a Cummins isx 12 loading very rapidly around 45 mph. Kinda need help. Dunno how to test the injectors leaking or what my temps should be

      If you have rapid soot loading indicated on the scanner I'd drop the exhaust to see if it's really making excessive soot.
